The Cross Plains show is more oriented toward the older cars. There usually are not that many cars from the 60’s or newer. It is a nice show but it leans toward the Model A’s and T’s. The Beloit show on Sunday is a very good show with many cars from all over. Alot are pulled from Illinois. A couple of the other shows look interesting also.

I went to the Waterloo Car show. It was a good show. This was the second year I have been to the show. I would give it a grade of B. It was a nice setting in Fireman’s Park in Waterloo. One negative might be where the cars are parked, on a hill. In some areas there is a lack of shade. There was a refreshment stand nearby. The worst part of the show was the hot weather. There were only about 1/2 of the cars that were there last year.

I think around 3 or so, it wasn’t too long after you left. I remember watching you drive out… The heath has been bad this summer, we invested in one of those portable tents last year ~ best investment yet! sunny.gif

Wish we would of waited a little longer. We bought one of those portable tents also, makes it much easier to sit there longer.

I’ll start with Automotion in Wisconsin Dells in late May 2005. I thought this was an excellent show, which it usually is. I would give it a grade of A-. Some of the good points are the location(blacktop parking lot – don’t have to worry about the car getting too dirty), great selection of top-end cars, fun atmosphere, and one of the first big shows of the season.

It would probably shorten the life of the transmission if done enough.

Christine was a cool movie, that was a great looking car. I liked the Charger in that movie also.
