That is one cool car, very tough looking. They should have no trouble selling as many as they make.April 5, 2005 at 11:53 pm in reply to: First car show that you’re going to attend this year? #7620
First show I will be attending will be Jefferson which takes place April 23-24. It is usually alot of fun because people are anticipating the start of good weather and getting their cars out. There are usually alot of cars for sale and thousands of vendors. Fall Jefferson last year had as many good cars for sale as I have ever seen there. It seemed like a number of people were selling cars they didn’t really want to but because of economic conditions felt they needed to.

A question, why are Willys used so often for modifying? They are a great looking car, is there something that makes them popular for modifying?
Tailgating is one of them. Do they really believe they will get there faster riding someone’s bumper. Do they ever think about reaction time!Quote:Quote:Both places are busy so timeliness may be a question. We have had an engine rebuilt at Bailey’s, he specializes in Mopars.

Electra Glide in Blue with Robert Blake was a cool movie.
Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man featured Don Johnson and Mickey Rourke. Rourke is a rough looking character.
A recent movie was The Fast and the Furious. That had some great chase scenes in it and some nice scenery. An older movie which was interesting was The Car.
Of course there were the Smoky and the Bandit movies also.
