If you go on the day of the show it is $10.00/car.
hpdog259962ParticipantYes, the activity seems to fluctuate, I say just wait a little bit before changing anything.
hpdog259962ParticipantDid it yesterday
hpdog259962ParticipantHave Farmer’s Insurance For Daily Driver, Hagerty seems to be accepting me right now, if I meet some sort of requirements which I do.
Quote:Quote:<Thread Jack From Spammer> Does anyone know about an classic insurance company that will insure a 16 yr. old?We got excellent rates for our teenage sons from Farmer’s Insurance.
Of course, your mileage will vary. Alot of the savings we got were due to the skill of our agent. For example, you don’t need to carry uninsured motorist protection on every car in the household …just one of the cars on the policy. It’s a fact State Farm neglected to tell us before we switched over.
Farmers gives discounts for good grades. We also got further savings by having them take a written test from Farmer’s, which identified them as lower risk, and that single item saved us a bundle.
Another little-known fact that our Farmer’s agent told us: Add another driver to your policy ….even if they’re not living at the same location. Doing this reduces all the drivers to “part-time” status, because there are more drivers than cars. And you save money. It can be a family member. We used my wife’s sister for our policy. This is another fact State Farm “forgot” to tell us.
There are ways to shave bucks off here and there. What we ended up with was the same coverage as SF at about 40% of the price.
Of course, now, with both boys grown and out of the house, and just a single car, we pay about $40/month for good coverage.

hpdog259962ParticipantI think American’s have an immunity to it now since it seems everyone in the world goes there at least once a week.
July 18, 2006 at 3:03 pm in reply to: (Hopefully) The 1st Annual Wisconsin Collector Car Car Show! #23792hpdog259962ParticipantIt is quicker if you use County & Farm Roads. You can probably shave 1/2 hr. off your time. Maybe more, I’ll make up a route this weekend or this week if I can find the time. Trying to enter two clubs at once is VERY time consuming.
Hopefully the weather will be nice to us.
FYI: If you do plan on attending, please send in your forms by July 21st, If you think you might go & haven’t sent in the form at that time PLAESE let me know ASAP. Thank You.

July 13, 2006 at 3:10 pm in reply to: (Hopefully) The 1st Annual Wisconsin Collector Car Car Show! #23787hpdog259962ParticipantAs it is now, we have a 1967 Olds Delta 88 going to the show.
Please send yours in now so you don’t have to pay $10.00 at the gate, just $5.00 to pre-reg. Time is running out.

Quote:I mean, they are not as good as their corded counterparts (performance wise) and you keep on having to charge a battery that goes bad. A long extension cord is way more practical (and much cheaper).hpdog259962Participant102 Since My Last Visit… Nice.
