See You Down The Road

After many years serving the classic car community, Wisconsin Collector Car will be shutting down at the end of 2024. Thank you for all of the car show memories!

If I remember correctly, you have 72 hiurs from the date of purchase to register a vehicle. If you drive it home, as long as you have the title you should be fine.

Definately call your insurance company before driving it. Hagerty may even have a rep on site that can get you a temporary insurance card.

    Good luck!!

So, if this discount was only given to Veterans, Im sure some wacko would complain that its not fair to those that did not serve this country.

I see no issue with this. The people that are pissing and moaning are the same people who will turn a blind eye when our peace loving president sends us into another war in Syria… Because they voted for him.

This may have been a car painted by Vetterly in New Glarus like 30 years ago, if its the car I am thinking of. The owners buddy asked me if I was interested in it… If its the same car they said it needs floor pans.

Thursday night there is a cruise in at the Seminary Springs Bar in Madison. I have no idea where its at, but thanks to social networking I get an invite for it now…

Saturday from 12p-5p the Juda Junior Class is hosting a car show at the high school.

And I hope and pray that on Sunday in Platteville, they do not have that stupid cowboy rambling off at the mic again. If they do, I will leave.

I have to agree with rustypup on the prayer bit. I am all for a church having a car show to benefit a charity, or raise money for the parish, but constant message or having participants and spectators feeling pressured into a belief is not right. I havent been to Pardeeville for two years now, but in years past a group prayer has always taken place before awards. I can do without. People have the right to believe and worship faith as they see fit, leave it at that. Nothing worse than a religious zealot that wont give up.

The Springdale Lutheran Church car show has no prayer session, nor is any higher power promoted during the show. Thats how it should be.

First Madison, then Dane County, next THE WORLD!!!

And the progressives implying these tax hikes hide behind the curtain blaming the republicans.

If you want a good, shady spot in Pardeeville, get there early. I mean real early, like at or before 7am because its supposed to be a real hot day. As far as anything car-wise going on, gto man now has the weeks events posted up.

With as hot as its going to be this week, my suggestion would be to hang by the motel pool :)

Thanks again, I was lost without WCC for a few days

You guys that run this site don’t get enough recognition for all the work you put into it, and I know I appreciate all you do for keeping it going.

Lancaster for me also. Going to try and get there this year without being accused of drag racing…

Part of me has an interest in seeing what a show at a strip joint is like…. But then again part of me doesnt. Maybe its a good one to be a spectator at?

Great night, lots of nice cars, and a lot of people.. Only problem was the three idiots who think it is cool to do burnouts when your leaving. Which I hope does not ruin it for the city hosting this again next year..

    Anybody we know?
