never use it..no need to, just a full tank of gas does me well. Couple of pumps to kick in the choke and she starts right up after a long winters sleep
thekcarguyParticipanta prime example of general motors current quality :woohoo:
thekcarguyParticipantThere are two stations that have ethanol free gas near me. Quik trip in Viroqua and Cenex in westby, I never will use ethanol again in my 81 Reliant K, it tends to screw up the carb to much. (chugging, poor idle quality)
thekcarguyParticipantthat olds should not have taken hardware, it was not all original…oh well.. I did enjoy myself at that show though..Thats great news that the Lincoln is fixed less salt for a minty park avenue. Gosh I miss the fun on the weekends, now its just cold and crappy….sigh. Ya I was bored one night and im like I gotta join that forum
thekcarguyParticipantI agree with you all, I always ask if the show is Judged by a panel of judges or the crowd votes, for instance I got a 3 Chrysler K-cars, showroom condition, well anyways I had my fleet at the mopars on the mississipi show, I have every inch detailed, underbody engine ect…and I still got beaten by a daily driver 85 Daytona, grease ball engine, aftermarket sound system. the other K was a lebaron convertable, and its hood was not up… I think it takes the fun out of bring home hardware.
I’m very impressed at the Reedsburg show this year, friendly, the judges were strict and would ask you questions about your car. ended up taking home a second.
Lancaster is also good at judging.
Portage was great as well.
also I think cars that are not 20 years old should not be allowed…
oh I agree that fairness is lost sometimes, like at the cashton fall festival, the guy who was running the show never can place ahead of me, so what did he do? told the judges to vote my car down…I even saw it.
I wouldn’t say that this is all I do..but I do like good competition.
