    I do recall a rating of yours from the Durand Ill show, that one was epic (huge grin!) Hahaha. After I attended it, everything you wrote was true!

    I have been perusing this website for years. Due to some glitch in the software, nobody could register for a long time until last summer when I brought it to the attention of the management here. Anyways, I found this site years ago while researching car shows for southern Wis. I bookmarked it and visited regularly because I found the info relevant, namely the “rate the show” feature and its archives, as well as the calendar listing of upcoming shows.

    As I type this, the “Rate the show” is gone and in the calendar there are only 3 events listed for the 5 month show season May-Sept.

    I did not realize the time consuming effort it would take to import the RTS files. That, coupled with the lack of participation when it was up and available, makes me agree with the posts above suggesting to use the forum pages to discuss car shows. I do wish the calendar of events and car show listings was full.

    From the homepage;
    Wisconsin Collector Car, LLC is the premiere source for car show information in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa. Find upcoming shows near you using our car show calendar, the most complete, comprehensive listing of car shows, cruise nights, and swap meets for the midwest. Discuss your cars, shows, restoration shops, and other topics on the forum and find local car clubs and businesses

    I vote to bring it back, and bring it back just the way we used to have it. There may have only been 1 post per car show, but over time they had easily several hundred views. I looked at the archives a lot. No clue why it was in consideration to get rid of this, but it’s not my board. Thank you for requesting input.

    Rate the show is gone? Dang, I will miss that. Looks like no archives either? That was this sites best feature!

    I entered 6 car shows in 3 different states with 2 Corvettes (separately). Birmingham Al, Darien Wi, Kenosha Wi, Monroe Wi, Janesville Wi, and durand iillinoiz. All in all pretty good shows, but if there is one I wont enter in the future it’s the durand ill show.

    Shows that I did not attend this year that I had entered in previously are 2 steeples in Mt Horeb (prior commitments) , Albany Lions club (prior commitments), Jesus built my hotrod Janesville (was not held this year but should be back), Bergstrom Chevrolet (was not held), and Silks strip club (don’t know if it was even held, I never found anything online and the contact guy never returned my call). I liked all of these and am probably a bit biased since have received trophies at 3 out of those 5 (grin)

    If there is one thing that I wish could be changed, it is 6 hours of the moldy oldies ’60s music. For the love of God please mix it up with a variety of tunes like the music that people actually listen to in their car when they leave the show. Oh, and free beer would be a nice touch…I kid!

    Curious if anyone attended the New Glarus show, if so what did ya think. This one is the August event that was rescheduled due to rain. I’ve considered doing this one in August over the years but the better advertised ones always won out. Not much info out there about this show. Very vague flyer brochure.

    Thanks for the Intel. I have one last show in me for the season and it’s down to one of the above two. If I knew which one sucked less, they’d probably get the nod.

    There is also this one in Janesville WI. I’m not affiliated and have never attended, but if the weather is nice this Sunday I may go. Actually sort of a toss up with New Glarus, another show that I’m not familiar with. The New Glarus flyer is very vague on classes. Hmmm…

    Sunday June 26, 2016 is the Albany Lions Club car show. This is always a very nice show with several hundred registered cars.
