After many years serving the classic car community, Wisconsin Collector Car will be shutting down at the end of 2024. Thank you for all of the car show memories!

Well judging still sucks, how can a 09 Dodge win best of class in Waunakee? Maybe I should bring a new Prius and go for best import..

And WTF an 07 Mustang wins best Ford. I think Marshall’s car was more deserving for that award at the show.

I mean really guys, you give those awards to new cars?…

There hasn’t been any new discussion on this for awhile. Any additional suggestions on how to regulate judging? How can we best ensure fair judging? Any additional differences for how large shows vs small shows should be judged?

There has not been any discussions here on any forums.

I saw an article on the news last week about this and spoke with a guy at cars and coffee today that told me about it too. He told me he wish he heard about it 2 weeks ago, since he was cleaning out his garage and tossed out 1 full City of Fitchburg trash can full of old car show trophies from when he used to good to car shows back in the mid 90’s.

So maybe next year if you are doing a little spring cleaning and are looking to make some room keep it in mind:

This is a great idea, I have forwarded this info to a friend who has hundreds of old trophies in his garage.. B)

Frankly I’m getting a little burnt out from all the shows. I may have to save myself for highway 61 cruise-in, and the Goodguys show is Sept. :)

The “Hot August Night” car cruise will begin at 6 p.m. and continue until 9 p.m.

The event will feature custom cars, hot rods, street rods, mods, antiques, classic cars and more.

Sponsored by the Sun Prairie downtown Business Improvement District (BID). the cruises are held for fun.
