Brrrr… nothing for me either this weekend
GaribaldiKeymasterThanks for the update! I really enjoyed going to this show a couple of years ago and hope to make it there again perhaps next year. It is a neat idea having the show in conjunction with the museum. In addition, the location was excellent with plenty of room for the cars
GaribaldiKeymasterI fixed the hole – there should be no more spam now

be bots activating new profiles.I was able to track down the hole in the armor today. If you visit the registration page, you will see a captcha (that image with letters you have to enter). This normally prevents the automated spam bots from registering and posting. Upon first inspection, it looks normal like its operating fine. However, if you try to register and enter random garbage in that box, it still accepts it. Herein lies the problem, which I am now working to correct.
GaribaldiKeymasterI read that you may need to try it a couple times to get it to work. Give it a shot again later today and if it still doesn’t work then I guess they really are out
GaribaldiKeymasterWow! Only at Jefferson…
GaribaldiKeymasterYou were doing everything correct – it seems you’ve discovered a bug in this new version of the forum software. I’ll start looking on the support site for information…
Thanks for posting it!
GaribaldiKeymasterI guess we haven’t tracked down the source of these spammers yet!

GaribaldiKeymasterWow this looks fantastic! Thanks for all the pics, Ryan. I enjoy seeing some of these older, rare cars. It reminds me of Clive Cussler’s collection:

GaribaldiKeymasterSorry to hear that! Were you posting it on a section of the Forum or on Rate The Show? It sounds like to me that you were posting it on the Rate The Show. If you this happens again, just fill in the “Forum Topic” box with a link to the forum or wherever. I double checked the settings and it is not required so I’m surprised you got that error.
Sometimes before I make a big post I do CTRL+A to select all the text in my box and then CTRL+C to copy it and keep a copy just in case there’s a problem. That way, I can go back and paste it (CTRL+V) again later without losing it.
GaribaldiKeymasterLets start a new discussion now – maybe about plans for the winter when shows are just a distant fond memory of warmer weather. Any project cars? Modifications? Upgrades?
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Hmmmm sounds so good on paper. So tell me this, how and why would my employer keep the healthcare they offer now when there is the “free” public option offered? How does anyone compete with that?It wouldn’t be free. The only thing I can think of which would be “free” as you describe would be single payer which isn’t on the table. A public option would require the subscriber to pay subscriptions just like any insurance plan – the differences would be:
– the prices aren’t artificially inflated to give the insurance company huge profits
– you can’t be dropped for preexisting conditions
– you can’t be denied coverage
– your out of pocket expenses are capped (yearly)GaribaldiKeymasterGreat photos! Thanks!
