You’re off to a great start Garibaldi. Lots of little details for the first week or two, then it gets more enjoyable and less work. But the excitement of seeing people join and participate …nothing like it 8)

Your absolutely right Cap, the excitement of having your site come to life is like nothing else!!! :blob: :blob5: :headbang: :hello1:

Just to give you more headaches, you might want to add a section to advertise items for sale or wanted to buy. To help keep it up to date maybe just dump it out every two weeks or something.

Anyways, good luck, it looks like you may be on to something here

Welcome! That’s a good idea about advertising things for buy and sell, the only thing I’m concerned with is if there would be legal issues by allowing my site to traffic the sale of parts??

Thanks for the good word, I hope you have a good time here! :thumbright:

    Garibaldi…

    Congratulations on the new website!

I found some classic photos on the net. They’re not muscle
cars, and they’re not mine, but they’re still worth a look!

Good luck with your new site! :D

Welcome Shadow57! Glad you found the place!!!
This website is about all classic cars, not just muscle cars so those fit in great! The old Tuckers were really ahead of their time, with the aerodynamics and the turning headlight, something now just being used again.

    1970 426 Hemi Cuda 8) 8) 8)

Those are bringing big bucks these days, $300,000 + at barrett-jackson. They’re a very hot item!

I suspect a lot of it has to do with the scarcity of the true 426 hemi. There were 426 engines built in the ’60s by Mopar that weren’t hemis, and sadly, many have palmed them off as hemis. True hemis are rare enough that you will pay a pretty penny for them, to be sure. It’s probably easier to get an original L88 alum. block 427 than a true 426 hemi.

Another reason for the shortage was the desirability of the engine for drag racing. They snapped up almost all the available ones, and since they stopped making them long ago, up up up went the prices 😯

This is the one I would most like to have. I salivate uncontrollably when I see this, so I’ll post it and then leave the thread quickly :D :

So what will that mod do exactly? Allow the forum to load better in different browsers/resolutions? Also these mods (like the mod control panel and image hosting), where can I find them and how do I install them? Sorry for me asking so many newbie questions, but well… I am new at this.
Thanks again for all your help!

WOW! 😯 Thanks for all the info coalman. So is that for my website or the forum part of it? As far as the regular website I have updated it a little, I guess the biggest problem I have is that in the last revision (before /current) all my pages except home linked images to the current directory, when they should have been in /images/. Anyway I think I have that all resolved now, I will take a look and experiment with some of that code though!
BTW I looked around phpbb a little for that patch for the .12 version, and after I download it where do I insert the character?

Hm… tough one. I’d have to say 1971 GTO Judge Convertibe.
