GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Trophies & Prizes – Only 1 trophy for best of show, then it was medals for top three in each class. The raffle, you had to purchase raffle tickets (all proceeds went to the children Hospital). The raffle prizes were all very nice. The grab bag I think was the best one I have ever received. I had a hat, a t-shirt, 2 decks of card from the casino, automotive stickers, beer coasters, 3 beer key chains, a beanie baby, some pens, matchs, and a 5 dollar voucher for the casino.
That’s a pretty amazing goodie bag!!
It also is nice to hear of a trophy presentation that started early!
GaribaldiKeymasterLooks like a nice car, you don’t see many of them!
GaribaldiKeymasterI’ve seen quite a few classics cruising around here in Michigan. One I saw for sale was this 1970 Camaro Z/28 with a 396 automatic. The outside was nice but the inside needed dash work and the seats weren’t stock. Even though its not really craigslist I’ll post it here:
GaribaldiKeymasterHave you heard the forecast? Are they predicting a lot of humidity? I think it has rained every time we’ve tried to go to Watertown for at least the last two years. Hopefully this year will have better luck! sunny.gif
GaribaldiKeymasterIt sounds like it was a great show and a lot of fun!
GaribaldiKeymasterGreat! There are so many to choose from. If you can’t make it to shows, cruise nights during the week are also good alternatives. They’re not quite so much of a time commitment and there are quite a few of them around
GaribaldiKeymasterNice firebird!
GaribaldiKeymasterSounds like a great project and you have a lot of history with it as well! Do you often go to shows?
GaribaldiKeymasterAlso thanks to Amigo2k for getting coverage of the Waupaca show!

@Marshall, I hope they will adjust the classes a bit for next year. I remember hearing the guy say that they usually shift around at least one class each year
GaribaldiKeymasterMoparkid, how many Mopars do you think they will get at QSL on Thursday based on what you know of how many there are in the Madison area?
GaribaldiKeymasterWelcome to the forum! The Appleton show sounds like a lot of fun and is comparable in size to Automotion in the Dells. Have you been to that one?
Quote:Are you into Mopars? Mustangs? ’55-’57 T-Birds, GTOs? or Chevy’s? (and I know those of you who frequent this site are!Yes to all the above! icon_cheesygrin.gif
GaribaldiKeymasterWow! I think I have seen a car similar to that at the Waterloo show – it was quite the creative effort to design with so many props etc.
How many cars were there at the show? It sounds great, and it was a perfect day
GaribaldiKeymasterIt will be but they are opening up more of the parking lot in anticipation. The other side (the one facing the beltline) will be blocked off for cars as well from what they told me last week.
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:This thursday at QSL they’re having a MOPAR night thumbsup.gificon_headbang.gif
Yes indeed! Lets make this night at QSL the biggest night ever! We’re having Mopar Night, Road Apples featured, and Kelly Moss Motorsports. Here’s what they said about what they’re bringing:
“We will be bringing 10 cars (race, steet and classic), which will include our 42′ trailer and our semi.”It will be a ton of fun! icon_headbang.gif
