I would say that Mercury’s, Lincoln’s and AMC’s are under appreciated. At the show on last Saturday there was a Rambler American whish was completely original with very low mileage. It was an example of economical, dependable transportation
In Madison they use mainly Crown Vics. You don’t see many around though, the cops are usually hiding somewhere wasting time.
Both beautiful cars. You don’t see many Superbirds these days. With the winged cars people either love them or hate them. I think it shows what lengths the car companies would go to back then to win races. They are legends in muscle car history.
Alot of the older cars had overheating problems even when new. Most people with older cars, especially muscle cars have installed a temperature guage, along with others to let them know how the vehicle is operating . Better safe than sorry. On my GTO it use to run hot. I installed a new 4-core radiator along with a lower temperature thermistat. It has really mde a difference.
