Does anyone know if RPM is still open for business; the website link is defunct.

I am told that RPM is out of business and Mike has left the area. I also am told that Pete is still in the Poynette area, (his shop is adjacent to the Fire Station) doing some limited automotive painting and graphics, but not actively soliciting any new business. If Pete has done work for you in the past or you know Pete’s old shop location, in Poynette, you can contact him that way. Hope this sketchy information helps.

After some serious thought, weighing the pro’s and con’s, and my BFF practically begging me to go, I’ve decided I’ll give it one more shot.

Just like last year, there are other shows going on that focus on cars that are newer with other attractions like stereo competitions, bikini contests, etc. I can only imagine the amount of law enforcement that will also be in attendance after last year too.

    I guess we’ll find out.

No, not this year. I went last year and found that the area is just too congested with too many cars – too much mischief for me.

For those that are going, and you’re travelling North towards the Dells from Southern Wisconsin or Illinois, think about taking State Highway 33, East out of Baraboo, and then jumping onto Highway A travelling North out of Baraboo, and coming into the Noahs Arc area through the back way and avoid the traffic on Highway 12 and the Dells Parkway.

    Enjoy the Show!

    IRISH CATHOLIC CONFESSION

‘Father’, he confessed, ‘it has been one month since my last confession. I had sex with Nookie Green twice last month.’

The priest told the sinner, ‘You are forgiven. Go out and say three Hail Mary’s.’

Soon thereafter, another Irish man entered the confessional. ‘Father, it has been two months since my last confession. I’ve had sex with Nookie Green twice a week for the past two months.’

This time, the priest questioned, ‘Who is this Nookie Green?’

‘A new woman in the neighborhood,’ the sinner replied.

    ‘Very well,’ sighed the priest. Go and say ten Hail Mary’s.;

At mass the next morning, as the priest prepared to deliver the sermon, a tall, voluptuous, drop-dead gorgeous redheaded woman entered the sanctuary. The eyes of every man in the church fell upon her as she slowly sashayed up the aisle and sat down right in front of the priest. Her dress was green and very short, and she wore matching, shiny emerald-green shoes.

The priest and the altar boy gasped as the woman in the green dress and matching green shoes sat with her legs spread slightly apart, but just enough to reveal that she wasn’t wearing any underwear.

The priest turned to the altar boy and whispered, ‘Is that Nookie Green?’

The bug-eyed altar boy couldn’t believe his ears but managed to calmly reply,….

‘No Father, I think it’s just a reflection from her shoes’..

here is the reply I just got:

There will be a car show on Saturday June 4th from 10 AM til 6 PM, not associated with Hometown days though. Corner of Legion Street and Commerce Parkway.

This Verona show will be on the same date and similar times as the 6th Annual Cruisin’ For A Cure Car Show in Oregon.

I just checked several other shows and found that both of these shows (Verona and Oregon) will be happening at the same time and date as the Annual Cars on State Street Car show in Madison.

Looks like it could be a busy day!!!

Beautiful car. Whether it was built back then or now from original parts who cares, it is a piece of rolling art. The Tucker convertible was well done and a beautiful car.

I don’t know how anyone could complain, if they own an original it is not going to go down in value.

In regards to the Tucker convertible that was in the Madison area a few years back, does anyone know what became of that car and where it is currently located?

Has anyone else noticed that there are some old, familiar faces missing at this years BJ Auction in Scottsdale? I began to wonder about what had happened to Spanky and Amy Assister. Spanky was and has been the lead auctioneer for BJ for many years. Here is what I found posted online….
