I completely agree. Frustration to the point of being seriously overwhelmed by everything going on.
GunnerParticipantThis is the second year, in a row, that the Beloit Autorama has been cancelled. Last year, it was standing water and soft ground that caused the event to be cancelled.

GunnerParticipantThere are very few car shows left standing, for this year. I haven’t seen any updates on the show scheduled for Aug 22d at the VFW in Madison. I haven’t seen any updates on the annual Beloit Autorama Car Show. The Mount Vernon Car Show has been postponed and tentatively rescheduled for Sept 19th (subject to change). Any others that I have forgotten about?
GunnerParticipantYep, if high end car the original block and engine components are important to retain future value. If not a high end car, crate motors or replacement motors may be the least expensive way to go.
GunnerParticipantHere ya go! This is how you do it.

GunnerParticipantGunnerParticipantI fear, the way things are going, we haven’t seen anything yet. The remainder of the summer could get really interesting.

GunnerParticipantYes, this still being 2020, I’m still confused. Anything could happen.

GunnerParticipantEvansville, WI Rumble In The Park Car Show, scheduled for 7/7/2020, has been cancelled.
GunnerParticipantTotally agree.
Another annual car show cancellation was announced today. Waunafest 2020 is cancelled this year with plans to come back in 2021. Maybe the other Waunakee Car Show (fall car show put on by the GTO Club) will happen this year.
GunnerParticipantI have been reminding myself, frequently, that it never should be about quantity (how many car shows) but about quality (the really good ones).
This past year, 2019, I attended the least number of annual car shows that I usually attend, going back to around 2005. Yet, the few that I did attend all turned out to be enjoyable and worthwhile.
Some of the really good car shows have been cancelled for this year, but I am optimistic that the few remaining car shows in late summer and early fall will fill that need for quality.
