Barrett Jackson Scottsdale … it is a car show, an auction and an event itself
Mecum … I’ve attended this auction at Back to the Fifties and would like to attend it elsewhere
Bonneville Salt Flats … just see it and experience it
Hot Rod Power Tour … I would like to do the whole tour and not just one leg
Woodward Woodward Dream Cruise … I would like to cruise and check out the cars
Sema … this is for folks that work at places that make car products, so I’m not sure how I would pull this off
Those are on mine as well.
Along with..Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance
Mopar Nationals in Toronto and Carlisle, PN
jonmandudeParticipantIt was a banner year for all shows. The weather was really good (when it wasn’t 2000 degrees) and the numbers were up.
My favorite show this year was Beaver Dam. The setting was as nice as Pardeeville and the show was well run. Pardeeville was also a very nice show, with the exception of the mentioned complaints. Spring Green is always tops too.
The negative issue I see, is more and more shows having year limitations. I have beat this drum loudly and feel that this hobby should NEVER limit anyone from being included.
I too enjoy the shows that are for charity. I think more shows should be about helping and less about personal satisfaction.

I guess the car didn’t run much after that show and has been in the shop more than not due to the ECU not being tuned to the supercharger. The story on the forum says that, by supercharging it, many of the sensors and engine management system started to go bad. I guess the 7 day schedule didn’t allow for tuning or troubleshooting to correct any issues that arose.
jonmandudeParticipantBlack
jonmandudeParticipantI found a few cars that were well priced and many that were WAY over priced.
I found a recently (and well) restored 1970 Torino GT
and a very nice 1968 Torino. There were a couple others but those were two that I definitely looked at closely and recorded the phone numbers.
jonmandudeParticipantHere’s one for y’all. I learned this from a judge for NCCRS.
Use a long handle (12″) artist brush to get into areas that are difficult to reach
jonmandudeParticipantThat Malibu looks like a really good deal for someone.
jonmandudeParticipantThis is for a great cause. I hope we can get attendance up next year.
Congrats Ryan on your best of show
jonmandudeParticipantI guess you never really knw until you try huh?
jonmandudeParticipantI do like your idea. It is original and has potential. The only issue I could foresee is the time it takes to go thru all of the participant votes, figure out who the top 5-6 cars in each class were, and then go out and judge. I think that would take hours

New door mechs on the 53, I’m getting sick of the door flying open when I go around a corner. And if I have time left over a paxton supercharger for the Shelby.sounds like a very full winter for you
jonmandudeParticipantBut how do you really know how you compared to other vehicles without seeing the sheets from those other vehicles? How do you know what you think is something you need to fix, isn’t something that actually rated pretty high compared to other vehicles? What if you get a mid-range score and all other cars were the same or lower?
I guess I see what the goal is for asking for your sheets now (thank you all for the responses) but I think without knowledge of the other sheets, it really tells you nothing.
jonmandudeParticipantPlan on taking the parts where I did the faux woodgrain overlay and having them hydrodipped.
Also thinking about having the rear rims widened so I can run 305’sjonmandudeParticipantsome more pics
