Just got done talking with a teacher friend of mine. She was at the protests with her union. She was pretty appalled at the garbage the people left behind and how they pretty much toss wrappers for food and stuff anywhere making no attempt at picking up the trash. Plus, she couldn’t take the smells much more from unbathed people. she also said that when the people from the Tea Party side walked by, protesters shouted obscenities at them. She thinks that the people there from out of state don’t really care about the Capitol and others and only are there to relive some sort of 70s fantasy. I can’t believe that people had cooking appliances operating. Talk about a health hazard.
lordairgtarParticipantBoycott Walker supporters? Then they better learn to get by without toilet paper (a lot of it made by Koch owned companies.) That Capitol building is gonna get stinkier than it is now with all those unwashed hippies banging their drums.

lordairgtarParticipantAnd what did he really say? Not much. Just casual conversation. We’ve all had converstaions like that. All politicians have backers. The Dems have Soros and Turner and others plus organizations like unions and such. What’s the difference? I know the difference. You agree with one and someone agrees with someone else. The main thing the WEAC is worried about is not the loss of collective bargaining, but maybe the shopping around for a less costly insurance plan because the health plan the Wisconsin teachers currently have is owned by WEAC. It’s called WEA Trust. Talk about sweetheart deals? This is one.
lordairgtarParticipantI just got gas for 2.88. I used my Piggly Wiggly points to do it. Saved 20 cents per gallon.
lordairgtarParticipantI will certainly contact my reps in government. Will also write notice in our club’s newsletter if I may.
lordairgtarParticipantThose are awesome cars, lilwillie.
lordairgtarParticipantGot that email alert from SEMA today, too. thanks to all that went to meetings, wrote letters and contacted law makers. You all did a wonderful job.

Blue with yellow would have been better or how about red with cream numbers. I saw a guy paint his that color to match his car and it looked real nice.
lordairgtarParticipantAll news networks are slanted, just depends on what side of the fence you are on. I get my news from AOL feeds and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, TV news is actually local based like channel 58 and channel 12. See? No Fox or any of the others national ones.

lordairgtarParticipantSeems to be an under current of resentment in the writer. Politics is getting so bizarre these days that an article about a team being in the Super Bowl has a swipe against the former President. Really? He even brought up Senator McCarthy. I know where his allegiance lies. And it ain’t with Green Bay. People’s team? Sounds rather Marxist.
lordairgtarParticipantI know that spot. Not much wet there at all. In fact it’s pretty dry back behind Argonne park.
lordairgtarParticipantWow, I didn’t think the review would spark such venom. I think it’s hard to satisfy everyone. About the Vette thing, I think the owner is a Vette guy. I’m assuming that because of the Corvette up on the lift. The New Berlin store is run by the Middleton people. I think a nice import tuner should be welcomed at the cruise night. We are all car guys, no? My review was done without my usual bias about things regarding cruise nights, but it should be known that I have an established cruise night at the Dairy Queen a couple miles down Moreland on the same night they schedule theirs. I’m kinda worried as they are now the 300 pound Gorilla in the room, but I am hoping that my price point for food and the give aways will retain my cruisers. I’m just the hired DJ, but I think we will do alright. I know the Loser’s Car Club has said they will stay at DQ, but they do want to try the QS&L to see what it’s like. I want everyone to have a good time with cars and friends and I think mine will provide that.
lordairgtarParticipantEven Barret doesn’t know if it is or isn’t. I’m using the reference of the periods after the letters U & S. Original news photos show no periods. Could be the movie car that they used in Women Of Camelot.
