South Wayne is hosting their annual show and shine car show on Saturday and New Glarus has one downtown on Sunday also.

The Dodgeville Chronicle had an ad in it mentioning a show in Avoca saturday which is also on here: http://www.villageofavoca.com/ under the catc celebration link off the main page,I don’t have any details though.

Thanks Moparkid25, the sending unit itself has been pretty easy to track down but the fuel and brake lines are another issue, I had checked inlinetube.com previously and they have applications up to 1990 in the Brougham but not the Deville…I’ll give them a call on Monday just to see if they have it and its not listed online. I’m hoping to get the car back on the road in time for the Baraboo show July 27
What a great time for the car to fall apart with all these shows this weekend! ugh! From what I’ve seen online it does not appear you can get stainless steel brake and fuel lines pre-bent and set up for a 1990 Cadillac Coupe de Ville but if anyone knows anything I don’t please let me know! Probably shouldn’t drive the car with gas cascading off the top of the tank from a leak in the rusted out, fuel sending unit so I won’t despite the tempting ride to Juneau! lol.
I just looked at the schedule for the hotel and we are absurdly busy so I’m going to have to miss out on Boscobel, may give Albany a shot on Sunday though.
according to their facebook page it looks like Fennimore is doing the fun fest car show again on June 7th, might take a ride out their.
put the caddy away yesterday, disconnected the battery and stuck some wood blocks under the rear of the car to keep the back end from sagging too far without the air ride compressor running, added stabil to the fuel, car sits in the “garage in a box” next to the main garage. I run the Buick on occassion through the winter when the weather is ok or when my daily driver Town Cars rear wheel drive proves to be too much of a liability. Seems like the season went fast this year, missed out on the delafield show due to a kidney stone and ER run, was suppossed to be my last long trek in the Caddy…maybe next year.
Kind of torn between Portage and Oxford on Saturday, Portage saves me a bit of commute but I’ve not heard of it before whereas two years ago I was in oxford and it was a nice show….hmmm. Anybody know if they do dash plaques in Portage? Looks like Hopkinton Ia on Sunday for me.
