one thing the flip flop wearing left is not consistant. all they wanted 3 years ago was “CHANGE” well heres change and they don’t like it. they want to change capitolism into socialism so everyone just makes the same amount, hmm? does that mean only us that don’t have union representation? must be! six figured bus drivers, six figured teachers, wow and that’s just the wage. well keep parading around it’s so entertaining, a lot like a carnival.

Say what you want, I’m on the goverment teat. My spouse was forced into early retirement this past April. We receive “free” health insurance till Medicare kicks in if ever and also receive a monthly pension check. I’m in the middle, as I too spent 15+ years with both the Carpenters union and the Teamsters Local 200. I will get pension from both of those when I retire. The trouble I see is the noncontributing factor. Even now where I work I have an employer match typical % retirement plan. We BOTH contribute. I don’t take the health insurance where I work as we already have a plan and it’s FREE. I’m concerned as are many that the gap is widening with the wage/benies on the state level. Other professionals don’t have benies that make their footprint DOUBLE. $58 an hour for what sometimes is nothing more than a babysitting service. Pay ’em more, why? Are you going to get better results? I doubt it. Why not pay everyone on performance? That’s the way I get paid. And really 2000 hours in 9 months, with holidays, and teacher conventions. I think you need to check into that. And after all if only one point of view was taken, what kind of democracy would that be? The was the real reason for my posting the article, too enlighten those that only read from a left leaning media. We all have the right to believe in what we want this is America at least the last time I checked.

Business whether it’s “BIG” or small all look for advantages. That’s pretty obvious. Be it a tax, or some type of competitive edge they all look for it. No one is selling “air we breath”, so whatever your business is you need to stay ahead of the competition. Their profits are made to offset their expenses which can be huge. Look what happened to GM and Chrysler. They had huge profits, and “union” built JUNK. They made money had over fist and yes they just couldn’t pass off what they thought was quaility. We as a nation keep funding them to keep them, lets call it alive because they provide jobs in some shape or form. We really didn’t need 4 differently named Impala’s or Tahoe’s. What we needed is GM and Chrysler to keep our economy chugging along. It’s all about growing the economy. This is the direction our goverment made after WW II. As a nation we grew until recently when China and some of these oil rich countries have gained in strength. Now what does this have to do with whats going on with Wisconsin you ask? Well Wisconsin is small business compared to the US and we need to stay competitive amongst our competitors, the other 49 states. We need that oh so important goverment supplement money to keep us from going broke. If we can’t grow, we collapse alot like what would problably happen if the US lost it’s “BIG” businesses that bring money into this country. Why do you think Walker wants to get businesses back here into Wisconsin? It’s all about competion and growing. Unfortunately we get stepped on, some harder than others. When and if the layoffs start will only deepen the hatred for Walker and as we all know hindsight is 20/20, so we best go forward.

I’d like to see the numbers of people supporting this if the weather was what it was last week. You in door all day people wouldn’t last very long in those balmy negative temps. I don’t have a side in this, spouse was forced into retirement at 55 by the goverment. Downsizing! Luckily with forced retirement she gets a pension and free health insurance. Now tell me that isn’t nice. But it all costs and I understand. I have 14 years with Local 200. I no longer am in the union because of being overpaid. It wasn’t downsizing it was the private sector working for less. Illegal aliens! Times are changing and hanging on to whatever you have isn’t always the best. Looking ahead instead of behind I’ve found out can steer you out of trouble. Whining is what we do best and Democrats are always great at building signs. I don’t like what Walker did but something has to be address and done.

We all know it starts this way but by the end it is a lot less than what is first proposed. I think if they would cut into the fraud of welfare nationally we’d save billions. The money that is paid out in this lucrative welfare business is unbelieveable. I not is not the life style anyone would pick but it’s ez money when this all you’ve ever been around. Trust me, it’s rampent. I have seen this first hand and the one reason it goes unreported is the stupid race card. The most overused and abused weapon is crying race.

Who determines if you do a good job? And aren’t you supposed to do a “good job” day in and day out?

I knew that for a long time but you can lead a horse to water, but make him drink the kool-aid, NEVER. That’s why we have choices.

I was going to put new carpet and some suspension work in my Mustang, but that all changed when we bought another home in Door County. Someone said it was her turn to spend money. Funny I thought I was investing in our future. She didn’t think it was the right type of investing.

I built my garage about 5 years ago. It’s 36×26 and it could have been wider but it’s never big enuff. I heat with in floor heat from tubing and a water heater. The water heater might be undersized, wish I would have put a boiler in but $$$$ so we also warm it up with a propane heater when needed. It is zoned also to the 3 different areas. I like the floor heat alot because I do wood working also and that keeps the dust from moving around.
