Yeah, jealous?
moparkid25ParticipantI received a project Nick has been working on for me today, its been in the works the last couple months, and it is purely awesome!!!!
Thanks again, your work is always money well spent!!!!
moparkid25ParticipantIts a sign of the times.
In the not too distant past, I drove a Monte Carlo SS in high school. In the late 90s, that car was only 10 years old. I never thought of it as a “classic”. I soon sold it, bought another one, then sold that, and picked out my dream car. I love 60’s muscle cars, and I’m slightly above that 18-25 mark. Nowdays, I’m back where I started, driving a late 80’s G-Body. Not because I’m so in love with them (but I am), because Mopar muscle cars are my hot ticket. I wanted to build something different that I hadn’t done before.
I see more and more young people getting into the show scene, and I think its great. Some have the Modern Muscle car, some have imports, and some have classic muscle cars. Its not about what you drive, its the interest that we all share.

Stitzer has a post office?! I can see why they would close it, why have a post office for the 12 people that live in that town. 6 of them probably can’t write there own name anyway  I didn’t realize Doylestown had a post office either.
moparkid25ParticipantSTORMEASTON wrote:You know you have 16 pages on this thread of companies closing in Wisconsin, and everybody blames Walker for them closing up. My question is why didn’t the federal gov bail them out like they did with GM and Wall Street? I’ll tell you why….they didn’t have the big unions and the fat cats on Wall Street paying the Democrats off!My truck didn’t start today……..Damn Walker!
I got a pimple on my a$$…….Damn Walker!
MY dog ran away…………..Damn Walker!
And so it goes on!
No, they’re still blaming Bush for stock market fallout
moparkid25ParticipantThe Busch brothers both need a good ass whoopin’, that will straighten them out. Where’s Jimmy Spencer when you need him?
And if he did flip the bird to the infield, knowing Moochelle was in attendance, that doesn’t deserve a firing – it deserves a handshake
moparkid25ParticipantThat is a good list to have.
One fillin’ station they do not list is the 6&10 in Mt. Horeb, they have sold ethanol free 93 for years. They still have the Mobil sign up, but are no longer a Mobil station after 30+ years.
moparkid25ParticipantPerhaps the job losses were due to employment terminations of those who chose to Occupy East Washington Ave?
moparkid25ParticipantAre you going to convert your ignition over to electronic, or keep the points and condenser?
moparkid25ParticipantLooking to find a decent fitting size of 16″ Hoosier QTP’s to keep the rear end from spinning. Just purchased a MAF translator and an LS1 MAF sensor for the old girl too. Also going to get some new gauges for the inside and find some better flowing exhaust.
moparkid25Participantcircletrack wrote:From the Sun Prairie Star ~Brown Shoe Company, Inc. on Tuesday, Nov. 15 provided an update on its previously announced portfolio realignment and plans to close its Sun Prairie distribution center in 2012.
The closing of the facility will be a phased process, which is expected to begin in January and conclude in April, according to a company press release.
During this time, functionality will be moving to other locations, as the company works to reduce excess capacity in its retail distribution network.
“This decision was based on the result of changes in our industry and our continued portfolio realignment efforts, which are focused on shifting resources to our strategic consumer platforms,” said Mike Kauffman, senior vice president of global supply chain management for Brown Shoe Company, said in the press release.
“The decision to close this facility is in no way a reflection of the skills and abilities of the Sun Prairie team.”
In April 2008, company officials voiced confidence in the Sun Prairie facility after moving its headquarters from Madison to St. Louis.
I don’t recall the previous administration working too hard to keep Famous Footwear in Madison. He showed no interest in keeping the company in WI, other states fought to bring Famous Footwear and jobs to their state as they had leaders who worked for the best for their state and its residence. Famous Footwear is not the first or last to leave WI and it’s time to stop blaming one person for everything..
Think of the people who have worked at the distribution center for years and now need to try and find a job, I would not want to be in their shoes. We should all be thankful for the job we have.
Yes, People need to realize that this isn’t a Walker decision. He’s easy to blame because those who have had everything handed to them or had a gravy train job for years now, GASP, have to pay for a portion of there own healthcare and retirement. To this I say, welcome to the private sector, where we’ve been rockin’ this party for years. They want a scapegoat, and they are using Walker.
I think people beleive this is a State Government issue because Jim Doyle, who did absolutely nothing for this state except put us deeper in debt, was on board with the UAW down in Janesville trying to keep GM in town. But for those of you who didn’t know that the UAW was a proud supporter of our former idiot governor, he was keeping the campaign money rolling in. How did that all work out?
Nike’s are made in Vietnam, or at least mine were
This was a corporate decision by Famous Footwear. It has nothing to do with politics, and it is not Scott Walker’s job to make them stay here. Although, if he offered them some tax breaks, maybe they would stay. But then the Rich, Evil Republicans would be doing something good for the local economy.
And Walker has created a lot of jobs – He got teachers who needed to retire years ago to finally do so, and pave the way for college graduates in education to start there careers. Same with state workers.
That’s my take on it. I just wonder how many people who are protesting the Governors actions also voted for him?
moparkid25ParticipantBullsh*t, plain and simple. The county wants to tax us more and claims its to help revenue when in reality they probably have the money spent elsewhere.
It won’t pass.
moparkid25ParticipantI’m to the point where I hate having a cell phone. At the end of the day, I don’t want to talk to anyone!!

As far as body work, Newton’s is probably the best resto shop around IMO. However, you’ll have to get on the waiting list.
moparkid25ParticipantNo more for me this year, my toy is stored for winter.
