Neither. I don’t use lenders anymore. If i don’t have the money to buy something, i don’t buy it. I just save till i do. I’m only going to be using them for my checking. Do credit unions have a better checking interest rate???

Truer words have never been spoken. Too many people borrow on things they shouldn’t. My grandpa taught me that you only borrow on homes and cars. A home is a place to live, and you can’t pay for your home if you can’t get to work. Cars depreciate, but home’s don’t. My credit card is for emergency’s only. I use my debit card to keep track of all my purchases.

I don’t like to carry cash if I don’t have to, but I haven’t been to a car show yet that will take my debit card to pay my registration

Ms. Moparkid and I went Saturday night to WOW. There were quite a few nice cars at the show, though my favorite was the bronze 1969 Dodge Daytona. I ran into Eclipse_Tuner and got to chat with him for a few minutes. His car looked awesome, and he had a good display area.

Kurt Warner is another aged QB that plays better than most of the younger guys in the league. Here’s my prediction for the following NFC games next week:

Cardinals will lose to the Saints. Cowboys will lose to Minnesota. Homefield advantage always plays a factor.

For many years, I had a Chase Platnum credit card. I recently paid it off and closed the account. When I got the card, my interest rate was 7.99%, and it was over 15% when I closed it. Raise the rates on the guy who pays his bills…

I had a loan from Bank of America, another sham of a company. I paid that one up ASAP as they liked to play variable interest game on what was supposed to be a fixed rate loan. My stock broker had me into some BOA stocks, I called him and told him to sell them after the bent-over customer service I recieved. BOA is also one of the companies giving credit cards to illegal aliens, who in turn don’t pay back what they borrow and the cost gets passed onto the consumer

A few years ago, I also had problems with Amcore Bank. They lost a portion of what was in my checking account and couldn’t account for it. I immediately closed all my accounts with there bank.

I know do all my financial business under one roof with a small, local bank that has a few branches. They are really good with working with there customers, and I have not had any problems at all. I also have a credit card with them that I rarely use. The big banks don’t deserve nore will they get any more of my business.

Looks like it could be an interesting project.

This would be an awesome car if someone were to restore it back to stock.

Nothing I hate worse than seeing these lowered to the ground, scraping curb feelers, a chain-link steering wheel, and a personalized license plate like Cheech and Chong have.

Ice fishing has never interested me, nor has fishing in general. I used to do it when I was a kid, I would ride my bike to Stewart Lake and spend the afternoons there. Did more exploring in the woods than I did fishing though…

The other factor is that I can’t swim  I don’t like being on the water, frozen or not.

I would prefer Saturday. Let me check with the Mrs. and see what her work schedule is. I’m sure DDhemi would want to go too.

I’ve said it, my old man has said it, and my grandpa has said it – Madison has been run by the leftover UW hippies for too long!

Madison needs new government – mayor, alders, city council, etc. One requirement should be a brain

Though its no secret I’m a devout Conservative, I have to agree. Pelosi needs to go, but I don’t think Joe Wilson and Gov. Sanford should go because of yelling “you lie” and cheating on his wife. Let’s not forget about Slick Willy’s midnight encounters with Monica Lewinsky…. There political rap sheets is what we should be looking at.

I think congress should be revamped. Two term limits, no earmarks, $45,000 a year salary. Same goes for the Senate also B)

Regular is $2.64/gal in Oregon. Gotta jack up the $$$ for the holiday travel season…

I thought high gas prices were GWB’s fault? Obama’s in office yet fuel prices (though lower than 2008 prices) are still high. Could it be becuase the Eco-Nazi’s want the American People to drive Green vehicles?
