Why was the fender tag removed from the car?
If the car is a “Californa car” with no rust, why does the removed fender tag show signs or corrosion?hmmm
Both are good questions. I noticed the same things that you did. I’m not a MOPAR guy, so I put this one on the forum just as it appears on craigslist, knowing that any issues would be noted.

GunnerParticipantI was leaving Madison yesterday, driving towards Milwaukee for the Nite Owl Drive-In Car show, about 11:30 on the Beltline, driving Eastbound, and I noticed that the John Nolan exit for Westbound traffic for the Alliant Energy Center was backed up well past the Stoughton Road exit! I am estimating there were several hundred hot rods, street rods, and spectators trying to get into the Hot Rod Power Tour show. Lots and lots of newer Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers and Chargers.
GunnerParticipantIsn’t it interesting how great minds think alike! That was the first thing that I noticed when I looked at the flyer. What, no classes? What in the world is going on in Edgerton? I think we can all agree that this show has been controversial for the past few years – so I shouldn’t have been so shocked to see this show’s format changing. Ultimately, what is going to happen is there will be a large number of cars and trucks competing for a handful of trophies. I’m not sure how that will actually play out.
I am surprised, however, that this show did not become a modified participant pick show modeled after the Spring Green show or Janesville’s Jesus Built My Hot Rod show.
Just my two cents worth……

GunnerParticipantWhy am I not surprised to see a pre-ordered HellCat that has not even arrived yet, being resold on craigslist? Free enterprise at it’s best or worst?

Almost everything they have is the real deal …
Everything I saw looked like the real deal to me. I would like to see more.

GunnerParticipantIf you’re going to sell a big money car for top dollar, Spring Carlisle is the place to do it.
GunnerParticipantGTO Man wrote:I guess they didn’t listen.I was gonna say, it looks like the totals were overwhelmingly in favor of spending the money. I believe the same thing happened in the Verona Area School District.
GunnerParticipantWas there a Best Of Show Pick? How did the local cars and trucks do at award time?
GunnerParticipantGunnerParticipantWell said! I think you addressed most of the issues. Like many, I am waiting for additional info on exactly what happened. DCI is still investigating and hasn’t released any additional info, although the Attorney General has promised a transparent proceeding.
I am concerned that the Chief of Police seems to be throwing the officer involved in the shooting, under the bus. This started early on. Who is going to advocate for the police officer? And, I’m sure that if someone like me (a private citizen) can see and sense this, what are the rank and file officers of MPD thinking?
