One reason for this behavior and one reason only….ALCOHOL!!! Why I quit doing karaoke shows.
lordairgtarParticipantThank you MVRegistrationrights.
lordairgtarParticipantHas the DMV approved this yet?
lordairgtarParticipant
I want this.lordairgtarParticipantThe Viper was the last thing designed by the AMC design team. They were told to go all out and design a car. They really did not think it would be produced
lordairgtarParticipantI have even grown my own stuff. Have not used chemicals and put mantis’ in the garden when I lived in California. Still got ill.

.
This is a company that puts on shows like Goodguys or World Of Wheels. No charity gets anything. If you think $35 is high, then you need to see what they are soaking the vendors for.
lordairgtarParticipantMcDonalds has tried to introduce things like apples and oatmeal. But it’s too little too late. I try and avoid fast foods and try to dine at mom and pop places when I travel. I’m overweight, have diabetes, but I have other issues in my diet such as some of the meds I use make you gain weight. Now my doc has figured out my thyroid does not work well. He put me on some meds and I lost a bunch of weight over a two month period, but it stalled. The other issue is that I get ill from eating green things. The only greens I can tolerate is peas and green beans. My fave veggies tend to be corn, beets, carrots, peas and potatoes. The trouble with those is they are high in sugars or starch which turns to sugar.
lordairgtarParticipantJonman, I like new and old. Seeing the new at shows allows me to actually look closely at it and speak to the owner. Yes, I could go to a dealership and look, but I don’t want to be huckstered by a salesman whose only skill is selling cars and really knows nothing about them. As an owner of a “new” car, I show mine when I can and I have done some minor changes like the pin-striping my HHR Panel has. Plus you just do not see a lot of panels tah are at shows or painted Victory Red. Most of them are white or silver. Also, indeed people can go and buy a ready to show classic, but remember that the car is a bit of history and if something rare, is an excellent lesson in car history. I enjoyed most of the shows I went to whether as DJ or artist or just hanging out. As for things I did not like, well, this is not really a car show thing but there were cars shown. We went to an appearance by Danny Koker of Counting Cars….really nice guy, very genuine. Our club hosted the event at a Sears Auto Center. Now I do not know if they had their own cameramen or if they were just filming for their own benefit, but very tall camera men pushing and shoving to park themselves and their rig right in front of you just pisses me off. Myself, I’m 5’9″ and my wifey is an even 5″. Everywhere I went this clown with the camera plopped his gear in front of me and totally blocked our view. We could not escape this guy. He had a huge tripod on wheels that took more space than a fat guy flying coach. Plus the little fireplug of a guy who worked security kept bumping into people with his bulk to get people to move…..until I shoved back (snicker).

That should tell you how they care about us car guys in lowly Wisconsin. I have to laugh at the term “members” , as it makes you feel like being part of a club. GG is not a club. They are a business, one that promotes it’s own shows. Why should they respond to you?
lordairgtarParticipantI pay almost $500 a month for my health insurance, and I wish I could get $100 a month insurance. Took a long time to convince my employer to get a plan that I could be on. I have pre existing conditions and our old plan would not even insure me. Every employee on the plan at work pays what I pay…even the Boss/Owners. We have Humana which is pretty good but could be cheaper. At my wage it’s pretty much a third of my check. So, unlike the opinion held by Moparkid, we cannot all do it.
lordairgtarParticipantInteresting. the Subie flat boxer engine also has a lower center of gravity so handling should be pretty good for that light weight car. I would defo spruce up that interior a bit. I’ve seen race car interiors that had more style, but I guess that bare bones look appeals to some, or they can jazz it up.
lordairgtarParticipantSo they are gonna take away mah rib sammich? French fries are from plants, right? 👿
lordairgtarParticipantThat’s cool. Ive seen his work before. I think he’s on one of my model car forums.
