Tried Spit Fire once but couldn’t tell the difference from the AC’s I was using then. Have had good luck with Bosch Platinum.

Seems like yesterday that I read your invite on Hemmings.com and came to visit. It was well worth the trip here. thumbsup.gif Wishing us many more happy years. icon_punk.gif icon_punk.gif

Good. I don’t mind the ads, I can ignore them. Seems like everyone else is, too. thumbsup.gif If I had to clean all kinds of spy and adware out every time I visited, BangHead.gif I would not return.

“Until the government starts penalizing the companies hiring the illegals…”

The government spends more time and money helping companies hire illegals than it does penalizing them. When it is all over and legislation is signed, we won’t need the border patrol. The borders will be wide open to anyone who wants to enter.
PS If you’re reading this George, go back to the ranch. You need some time off after getting hit by that Cricket pitcher.

Had that at my last job and cameras watch me when I’m on the grounds at the present job. That doesn’t bother me. It’s their stuff and they have a right to decide how it’s used. When the company starts interfering with what you do when you’re not at the job, such as smoking, drinking, posting thoughts on the web, w00t.gif etc, then it becomes a problem.

Some of the cars I drive where I work have XM. It reminds me of my days of driving with just AM. Long time ago, I’m showing my age again. w00t.gif When I’m in a parking structure, it dies. No signal.

My 70 Monte Carlo SS has a factory tach. I have added them to cars in the past.
” Actually a few years back I had a car whose odometer would just stop working at certain speeds, like over 50 or so. I ended up writing down the tach readings and using that as a reference for a bit until I could get it fixed”
    I’ve done that too. thumbsup.gif

Not really a Collector Car, even though they are popular cars to “PIMP OUT” now. I use it for a daily driver. It’s a 77 Chevy Caprice. A guy at work asked me if I wanted a 67 Chevy with a bad transmission. I said I would be interested in it. The next day it became a 79 Chevy and then he wasn’t sure what it was. I asked him to bring in the title and it turned out to be a 77. It was sitting next to his garage for several years and his wife wanted it gone. I went to pick it up and wasn’t sure what to do with it. Three of the brakes were frozen, the hood was stuck, and the interior was used for storage. The trans was dead as I mentioned. When I got it home I got the hood open and the engine ran great. I spent some time looking at the condition of the car and the parts I had on hand. I decided it would be a cheap daily driver for me to do. I had a transmission and most of the other parts it needed. I did buy different seats and some needed new parts. Been driving it for 1 1/2 years now and will finish some last minor things this summer.
