I’ve been watching this race close, I think Clinton will buckle under the pressure. I would like to see Obama have the democratic ticket. I think he will give McCain a run for the money and make a cliffhanger of an election. It’s no secret that I’m a right-wing conservative, but there’s things about McCain I don’t like having the nomination. He’s too old, he really hasn’t done a lot for Arizona, and I don’t think he’s willing to take constructive criticsm from his cabinet. I see him as a “my way or the highway” candidate.

I do like how Obama handles himself when he speaks in public. He’s very intelligent, well spoken, and he’s a fresh candidate. He’s never ran for the DNC nomination before. I guess the way I’m looking at it is he can’t do any worse than Bush…

Yup, I filled up last night for 3.09 and on the drive home the 3 gas stations by my house were all 3.19…

I’m sure in july we will hit 3.40-3.50.

Let’s at least try to be optimistic about the prices of fuel, huh?

The Diesel guys are really feeling it in the wallet right now, $3.69 in Mt. Horeb at one station, and it’s $3.89 at the other two. What I don’t understand is all these so called “analysts” on the news that think they know what the price of gas is going to be during the summer. One guy says it’s gonna be $2.75, the next says $3.50, and the next says prices will stay steady with where there at now. If big oil wants any breaks, you would think they would keep costs down. Especially since the Left is threating to tax the hell out them (which I agree with). High fuel prices are helping to kill the economy. I filled my truck up yesterday for $70, that’s the most I’ve ever paid for a tank of gas.

Granted, it was sputterin’ when I rolled into the station….

So, you don’t want to borrow my “Show me your —-” sign this year?

Two years ago at the Dells it was one of my best friends that did the famous “Burn out that shut down the street”, he wasn’t there last year, but he will be attending this year!!!

I remember some kid saying to me “What’s that car got in it?” to where I replied, “It’s not what’s in the car, its the 5th of Flieschmann’s in the driver!”

I’m glad that they didn’t decide to restrict it to one day or any of the other things that they were talking about doing after having that rowdy year.

Call me crazy (and I can admit a lot stupid stuff happened up there), but I had some of the most fun ever in my life that weekend!!! Circletrack can vouch, she knows the story!

Hillary the bulldog is hanging in there. The more she opens her mouth the more I dislike her.

Now that’s one quote that you and I can agree on when it comes to politics! Does she really think she’s gonna get the nomination? Yes, because she’s promising all these “Super Delegates” cabinet positions. If she gets the nomination they might as well just put McCain in the oval office early. McCain wasn’t my choice for nomination, but I stick to my party.

I sent $10 to votenader.org. I can’t wait for them to call and ask for more, just so I can tell them why I gave them money in the first place Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif

McCain is the republican party’s uncle tom. He tries to work with both parties, which would be ok if the radical left wasn’t out of there minds when it comes to politics. I don’t like his ties with Feingold either. McCain does the right things for the wrong reasons. Someone has to tell that old bastard that your not gonna please everyone in life so quit trying.

I liked Huckabee. A strong christian, former governor, plays bass guitar, had a lot of good ideas.

You refered to McCain as a warmonger…One advantage he has over this dimwit i’m embarrased to call a republican president we have now is that McCain DID see war time. Not only that, he was a Vietnamese POW. He understands how it works. The left want’s us to give up a war, just like 30+ years ago in Vietnam. I agree the war should have been over long ago, but I also believe that we should have caught Bin Laden by now too. All of the hippies are basing there vote on the war. Crap I say. We need to worry about problems in this country- possible recession, gas prices, health care (which Billary’s plan is crap) and finish this mess overseas.

Thanks for the help GTO Man.

The basic information is matching up, but some of the other data is “jumbled up” and starting to get me confused. I have not confirmed that this car was/is a factory SS. I also think that the factory colors (interior and exterior) have been changed.

Even though this is a project car, there appears to be originality issues with this car.

    Marshall,

I have old GM parts books here at work that decode all or most of that information. PM me if you would like to come out and flip thru them, or we can make arragements for me to get you photocopies of certain pages. I keep them on hand for all the GM cars, you would be suprised how many people call for muscle car parts!
