I’m getting ready to go out and plow again myself. We got to go home at 3pm today (the 6 of us that were actually there). I plowed 3 times during the day just to help keep the amounts down and fight drifting. Hopefully now that the wind has died down I can be home at a reasonable hour tomorrow morning before having to go back to work.

I do remember there used to be a dark green Pinto that raced on East Wash about 10 years ago. It was caged and had a 351 in it I think, does anybody remember that car?

It is my belief that you had problems with your performance as an employee of QSL (you were also a bartender). You were cut back on bar hours because of your performance and after several attempts to help you correct your behavior….
They did offer you to stay on with Bike Nite.
They did appreciate everything you did while you were here.
You are the one that decided to leave. You did not get fired.As someone who is not an employee, but claims to be a friend of an employee, who in the hell are you to discuss his performance as a QSL employee?! This topic was started because of the questionable directions the cruise nights could take now without Jon directing that aspect of the business.

I have passions of my own but not for cars but for other things I have worked hard with and understand how you feel.
If you have no passion for cars, then I recommend you quit $%#& off about something you have no idea about on a CAR FORUM!!!

Yes, Jon’s work was appreciated by me, many others in OUR hobby, but not you. I met Jon a couple years ago and I’m proud to consider him a friend! As far as I’m concerned, I wouldn’t walk across the street to piss in the QSL parking lot if people like you are the patrons that associate there.

I will say that I liked the atomsphere at QSL, it was very relaxed and the beer was cold. I liked the food, but every time I ate there I always had a spare pair of shorts in the glovebox in case I didn’t make it home fast enough 😯
I had to be out in the elements last night. Down by Tyrol Basin, it was near blizzard conditions. This morning, my power went out in my building and all my tenants have electric baseboard heat. I made sure the lady downstairs who has two young children and made sure they were warm, and gave her my space heater in case she needed it. about the time I sealed up the mechanical room and made sure the pipes were still warm, the power came back on. I called work and the power was out there until 8:30, so I got a couple free hours to myself this morning.
I’m ready for spring.
Hopefully the prices will come back down to earth. The blue collar worker will again be able to afford a very nice, well restored, collector car. I like to think you will again be able to buy nice cars for 20k, but you have to wait and see. A recession may lead people to invest in other things…
Madison’s government is run by idiots. Just think of all the extra money they have in there budget now not plowing streets, paying overtime, and buying salt. Now they can take that money and apply it against all the slip and fall lawsuits they will have in the spring! My Grandma lives right off a main west-side street and they don’t even plow her road! It’s kinda comical being over there cleaning up the snow and watching all the lib’s in there fuel friendly vehicles try to get traction and pull out into traffic, but even I have to say it gets old. Madison needs to get rid of Mayor Daveweed.

With some things that were said, I wasn’t really that upset about it except that the topic was locked and others were not allowed to give there opinion, because thats how forums work – opinion.
(with no offense to the administrators or other members) It’s funny how public forums work, especially when there’s money and promotion involved. I have said before and said to you Friday night in person I’ll never have another thing to do with QSL because they f*cked you over and you didn’t even get kissed.
