Sure, its within walking distance to throw bricks thru windows on Mifflin St. while protesting the war
In all seriousness, Soglin is the lesser of two evils IMO.

Rachel, I hope you’re right and that DMV is doing this to keep rust boxes from licensing with collector plates, and that there isn’t some other agenda behind it.
moparkid25ParticipantPaul-Underwood wrote:What do other states do, as far as front plate use, and as far as year stickers? Anybody know?Would such a change affect us when we operate in another U.S. state?
WI is (I believe) 1 of 7 states that requires the use of a front license plate. I had a convo with a friend of mine who is a police officer over this matter a few years ago… He told me law enforcement prefers a front plate in case they are looking for a vehicle in a case – its easier to read a front plate coming at you than it is a rear plate in your mirror.
I’m not sure how it would affect travel in other states. I’m sure there’s other states who do not use a renewal sticker.
If this saves the state more money, I’m all for it
moparkid25ParticipantLocal races didn’t go as well as I had hoped (Mt. Horeb, Town of Blue Mounds)

moparkid25ParticipantDrill here, drill now. The minute we even make mention of it the Arab’s sharpen there pencil…

moparkid25Participantss396 wrote:I for one will not attend. Way to many people who do not respect cars at this show for my taste. I will say they get many of the unusual cars you wont find anywhere else at this show but it seems to be the same ones back each year. I would recommend to go only if you plan to stay by your cars side the entire time. This is one show I would only attend as a spectator. I understand your concerns completely, and am in agreement 100%. There needs to be more security for the cars being shown. The business association should also implement a no skate boards/bicycles/scooters/rollerblades rule during the show.
I don’t like how they select what cars will be given the oppurtunity to be shown at this event, but there’s nothing I can do about it either. I’m not a fan of driving around downtown madison in the first place, so to do it with my collector vehicle makes me twice as nervous.
moparkid25ParticipantWhy people find the need to litter in the first place is beyond me. I’m sure a compromise can be found at the Board Meeting Tuesday night to keep this event going.

How do you figure? The Democrats locked out the Republicans when it came to voting on the healthcare law, but I suppose that’s ok? Yes, I did have to get the jab in, BECAUSE I AM SICK AND TIRED OF EVERYONE PISSING AND MOANING ABOUT WALKER’S CUTS!!! If you have a better idea, I’m all ears. It was YOUR democrat governor that put us in this mess
Paul, your a great neighbor. Always willing to help, and probably one of the nicest guy’s I know. But dammit, we need to quit discussing politics. Our views differ too much
moparkid25ParticipantBut it was ok for Obama for ram his healthcare bill thru?
I knew I said I would no longer post in any political-based threads, but I had to get that jab in
moparkid25ParticipantThese are the types of shows I want to attend, where my $10 reg fee goes to help somewhere
moparkid25ParticipantThat blue Charger has been for sale for a couple years now.
moparkid25ParticipantI have taken quite in interest in older farm equipment at shows last year, and am kicking around buying an old tractor. My favorite is the International 1568 Diesel from the mid-1970s. They look pretty badass with the dual stacks pouring black smoke into the atmosphere. And there a huge machine on top of that!!
Plus, you got them suitcase weights on the front to keep the front end on the ground when launching
moparkid25ParticipantCam duration with your car has endless possibilities, its a manual. You can go as agressive as you like, just make sure that your heads have the proper cfm of flow so your not choking it out and robbing it of HP.
If you’re looking for a decent increase in HP’s, I’d look at a cam/intake/carb combo. Changing your manifolds out for headers alone won’t give you enough gains to make a difference. Do you still have the stock heads on the car? Remember when changing the cam, you’re going to have to change lifters and pushrods also. You may also need stiffer valve springs.
If you’re looking to make a decent power gain with your current setup, sometimes just having the carb and distributor tuned will give you what you’re looking for without having to change up parts. I’ll email you later and give you some more info.
