The Pontiac Aztek has to win the prize… :woohoo:
XmanParticipantI always liked reading what people think about shows they attend. Since I sold my car last year I have not attended many shows anymore. I prefer to ride my scooter all weekend. However I have purchased another car we’ll see if attend any shows next year, I guess I was also getting bored just sitting behind my car and staring at the bumper all day. I admit I’m a lurker too. I swing in take a look and move on…
XmanParticipantNo I did not attend show, I just come over now and then to see the car show ratings. It appears to me that no one other then the same few rate the shows anymore, and only one person per show. I know in the past the event promoters would come here to see what needs to be improved and or changed at their shows. Looks like times they are a changing…
I did ride by Spring Green Saturday around 11:30 on my scooter, and I saw a lot of nice cars heading away from there. From what I heard from some friends that attended, If you were lucky enough to get a spot on the main street. You probably received an award.
XmanParticipantNotice they are starting here, so the city fathers can get them out quick. Madison hates anything automotive related..
XmanParticipanttry this: http://www.road-apples.org/
XmanParticipantGM already had the EV1, did the oil companies pay GM to destroy all of them? It is all about oil in this country.. Check out the movie “Who killed the electric car” I say go Tesla….
XmanParticipantIt won’t end ever! People are smoking less, and driving electric cars. All the taxes they have put on gasoline and cigarettes over the years have supported a lot of things. Either the state will tax us more or your community will. With the state cutting all the school districts money it has to come from somewhere. So the schools are increasing their budgets to meet the needs. But it sure makes the state look good for not being the bad guy.
XmanParticipantHeading up to Pardeeville on Sat, then off to Shades of the Past on Monday: http://www.shadesofthepast.com/
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
XmanParticipantDid this show pop up out of nowhere? I don’t remember seeing anything about it..I know one thing, after seeing those trophies there will be a race for all the trophy whores to get there next year..
Looks like a kool place thanks for sharing the pics…
XmanParticipantBummer I missed this one, I see from the pics some people are still attending shows.
XmanParticipantVFW for me Saturday, always a good time.. Great prizes
XmanParticipantGreat night, lots of nice cars, and a lot of people.. Only problem was the three idiots who think it is cool to do burnouts when your leaving. Which I hope does not ruin it for the city hosting this again next year..
XmanParticipantSentry in Sun Prairie is closing and 90 people will lose their jobs too..
XmanParticipantI noticed Friday there were a bunch of empty vendor spaces..It was kinda of a bummer..I guess its off to the Internet for me..
