I found some photos:
use to. Gun and bow. Then my dad retired and he heads to FL for the winter now so the guns are collecting dust.
I use to fish a bunch too. Went to Canada 5 times fishing then I graduated from College and bought a house ….
maybe it is time to take up fishing again … or buy another car!
My folks fly home for Christmas so I’ll see it a couple of times then. No other classics, just a couple of boats, a truck, a trailer and other things like a riding lawnmower, pressure washer and the such.
Cold storage. My folks live in FL for 6 months out of the year so my car heads up to their place (fits 5 cars).
prep ….
wash wax.
change oil
put in an extra 15lbs of air in the tires
stabile in the gas tank (top off the gas).
Park on a tarp.
fog the engine with Stabile Fogger.
pull the battery put it on a battery tender
leave all the door cracked a bit
open the glove box and ash tray
put the car cover on ….
close garage door unplug garage door.wave good bye and then pick it up an the end of April….. that’s a long time ….
Yup, if I had the space and neighbor to help and an engine hoist one could turn it into a nice daily driver or sell it in the spring and maybe make a couple thousand bucks….
It is pretty easy to drive west after 5. Most of the traffic on the drive home is going east.
If they can handle 200-300 bikes on a wednesday I’m sure they can handle 50-100 cars on a Thursday.
I think there is are plans already in the works to have it switched to a weekday night instead of a Sunday.
