Again, the Corvette class only went up to 1990. I know of one person that requested not to be in the Corvette class, but that is his choice… I don’t think anyone should be forced to go in a class they don’t want to, more often than not that hurts their chances of placing at a show. The newer Corvettes were not “class jumping”, they were going in the classes that fit them, and those were slim.
If you have a convertible and the top is down, you should be penalized, same as the hood/trunk being closed. Some of the Corvette’s did not have trunks (obviously), so points were adjusted accordingly, but they were not penalized.
Haven’t been in years, last time we went – if you weren’t from the Janesville area… forgetta about it, no thanks

I don’t think most buy anything at stations, even with a discount – I use my debit card and go on my merry wayNot to add fuel to any fire, but at almost every judged show I’ve attended, an announcement regarding those who think they have not been judged is made, so you need to speak up and let the organizers know you’ve been overlooked if that is the case (for anyone).
Going to head to the VFW, I love that location and it’s nice to have a relaxing show where you don’t have to worry about anything but having a good time
