GaribaldiKeymasterHere’s a link to a story about the Home Depot layoffs:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090126/ap_on_bi_ge/home_depot_job_cuts;_ylt=AtiR3AYYcNByafP_l32KEvWs0NUEGaribaldiKeymasterThat’s hilarious tho quite true sadly. I think the days of this old idea of you verses me, reflected especially in the quote about “anti-business types”, is gone now with Obama. Hopefully that will mean real change.
Also I heard 50,000 people nationwide lost their jobs today. Did anyone see 60 minutes this weekend? If not, here’s the emotional clip about a town hard hit by these layoffs:

GaribaldiKeymasterI didn’t make it either; I didn’t really have any interest in going
GaribaldiKeymasterHere’s a nice slideshow of some of the cars at the auction:

Also, you can rerate Automotion 2008 here
GaribaldiKeymasterI’ve updated the Rate The Show form because I had a few settings setup wrong. Now it should all work correctly. If you haven’t yet rated Automotion 2008, you can easily do it here. What do you think of the new Rate The Show setup?
GaribaldiKeymasterHere’s a link to the original Automotion 2008 topic.

GaribaldiKeymasterI’ve added both of you to the list so now you should see a link on the left menu called News. If you click on this, you’ll then see a link called Add an Article which you can use to compose your article. Here’s a direct link:
http://wcc6.wiscollectorcar.com/news/add-an-article.html
You can compose it beforehand in Word if you like and then simply copy it over or write it right on that page. Then, set the Section to Featured Articles and click save. Your article should appear right away under News -> Featured Articles. Also, the last posted article will appear on the homepage (soon to be implemented). Everyone can read your article and comment on it using the Comment System. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask
GaribaldiKeymasterGood to see you Bodyslide, anything new?
GaribaldiKeymasterLike said above I hope these cars get into museums where they can still be seen. They are certainly rare beauties. What surprises me is how GM and the other auto makers scrapped their concept cars. Granted they couldn’t see the future but those are very very valuable nowadays and that would be a cool thing for a company to have in their collection – their “what ifs”
