That is a nice looking Valiant. It must of been pretty fast with a V-8. They were a pretty light car. You don’t see many at car shows.

There is something about the ’63 thru ’67 Vette’s. Especially with the Stinger hood. They are just about the only American car that remained true to it’s heritage. The ’55 thru ’57 Thunderbirds were pretty much in the same category but then sold out to dreams of larger profits.

Nice looking bikes on the site. I like that ’67 Nova SS. Sounds like you do your own mechanical and performance work. I wish I had the knowledge to do that.
I thought that Mustang was real in that picture. It’s amazing the amount of detail the diecast models have.
I have a number of diecast models, mainly muscle cars. In the last couple of years they have really added many different types of models from the 20’s and 30’s up until today. Quite a variety of prices also, from the $20 range up to 100’s.

Nice looking ’69 GTO on the site. It’s amazing the power they get out of these engines. That new GTO with 645 hp would be unbelievable. I hope they give the new GTO a chance to catch on better than it has so far. It seems because of the drive for profits these car companies won’t give some of these cars a chance to succeed.
One of our friends up here had two LS6 Chevelles which he recently sold within the last year. They were original with approximately 10k on them. He said he really didn’t feel comfortable driving them because of their worth.
Nice looking Charger. They were always a tough looking car. Certainly in the top five muscle cars.
The Charger Daytona and the Plymouth Superbird were interesting vehicles. They were made to compete on the super-speedways. But they actually were too fast, speeds were pushing past 200 mph and Nascar decided to slow it down, so they banned the wings. Daytona’s and Superbirds didn’t sell well when they came out, probably too radical for the buying public. If they only knew then what we know now.

I think the new GTO has the drivetrain to live up to the original’s heritage. Styling-wise I think they did a poor job, but the aftermarket industry will come up with many products. I have a ’68 GTO convertible. They were a tough looking car with the power to back it up. The new one can certainly back it up also.
I saw the Charger in Fast and the Furious a couple weeks ago at the Volo Auto museum north of Chicago. All the cars there are for sale also. A big variety of cars for sale.
One of the coolest episodes on The Twilight Zone was with William Shatner as a passenger on an airplane. He keeps seeing this creature out the window on the wing. It finally drives him insane.
Very nicely done. All the modifications fit perfectly with the car. What do you think of the new Mustang? I think they did a great job of incorporating the retro look. Looks like Steve Mcqueen could pull up in it it at any time.
There were also many interesting movies which sprang out of the nuclear age, Them, The Thing, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Blob. I can come come up with a lot more titles. Interesting the way movies reflect what a society is thinking about.
