Eastwood http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?itemID=948&itemType=CATEGORY&iMainCat=706&iSubCat=948 sells a kit for doing this. Don’t know how well it works, but the company has been supplying stuff for old car nuts for many years.

We’re back to where we were in the late 80’s. Same thing happened then. Collector car prices dropped after the speculaters ran the prices up and left the market with their profits. Lots of people got stuck with “Investment” Muscle Cars that they over paid to get. w00t.gif It took years for for the hobby to recover. Hope this isn’t a repeat of those times.

He passed you on a RAMP????? Man that takes guts or stupidity or both :D :D :D

I’m not sure which was in play that day, but it did give me something to remember. I guess he had IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO and had no time to waste doing them. icon_cheesygrin.gif

I got passed on a freeway on ramp once. w00t.gif It just amazes me how some people drive. Today I was in the right lane on I94 going 60 in a 55 zone and a guy came up behind me, passed me, pulled back in front of me and took the exit. He couldn’t stay behind me for one second and then exit. dontknow.gif Some times you just have to shake your head and say “What’s wrong with these people?” icon_scratch.gif

At least they’re are supposed to do something. I’ve seen spinners on speakers. Does this disperse the sound waves better? dontknow.gif

I’ll be glad when this whole fad is just a bad memory.

Nothing on any cars now, but last years winter beater had “Do not wash, this car is undergoing a scientific dirt test.” A few years back a different winter beater had ” This is not an abandoned car.” I just thought people should know that. icon_cheesygrin.gif

Just one of the hazzards of working in the big city of Milwaukee. We won’t get into the shootings, drug deals, or hookers in the area. I’m just happy I don’t have to work second or third shift any more. The neighborhood has turned into the “hood” over the last thirty years. 😯

About two months ago, while I was at work, someone tried to punch out a door lock but they were scared off before they finished. I did have to fix the door and replace the lock. I got lucky that time, no broken glass and the car was still there. I have had cars stolen and broken into at work before.

They go to different hours/days for the winter. Best time to go is late October or November and after the snow melts in March to early April. Too many weeds and bugs to go during the summer unless you know where and what you’re looking for. Spent many hours wandering around there and pulling parts.

I was there Saturday and thought it was more crowded than usual. Lots of people must have seen the Sunday forecast and decided to come Saturday. Lots of cars for sale and parts to look at. I found several things to buy and spent some quality time looking in the car corral. Much better weather than last Spring at Jefferson. Some venders were leaving late Saturday and I can’t blame them. Not a good place to be when the ground turns to mud. Hope next Spring Jefferson is nice weather.

Nah we all get gas in the back occasionally Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif

    :haha:

Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif I don’t want to think about that kind of gas. Too bad I can’t use it to run the car, I’d never have to spend money and the tank would always be full. icon_punk.gif

Van’s Auto Salvage just outside of Waupun might have some if you look for used parts. I still have the spare tire from my 63 Hawk if you need a wheel and it fits.
