No crying about another guy who spent less getting a trophy… no more complaining about mis-classified cars. No picking apart someones home restoration…
Now if we could just insert some “fun” back into the shows instead of sitting in a lawn chair… I can do that at home and save $$$ on gas.
End of curmudgeon rant…
Well said! The pleasure I get at car shows is seeing the reacations, and hearing peoples stories that my car envokes.Worth more that any trophy.I also agree with jonmamdude,I perfer cruise nights.I have only been to 4 car shows this summer.Five ,200, 422, and 1444 miles from home.
78cruisingwagonParticipantI have been playing acoustic guitar for a little over a year now. I tryed to play in Jr High School, but could not tune the guitar. Now with cheap electronic tuners its a snap.So I decided to give it a go again.I havent taked any formal lessons yet, just lessons off youtube.I can play most all the basic cords and bare cords and know about 25 songs.I need to work on my rhythm. It would be nice to have some one to pratice with.Memorial day weekend my step son asked if I could play the percessional at his July wedding “Here Comes the Sun”.It was not perfect , but I pulled it off!
78cruisingwagonParticipantI wish I had a camera.one broke and could not find the other so no pics.Had a great time in Chippewa Falls. They advertised 700 cars, I dont know the count, but there could of been that many.It was a non judged show with cash drawings at 3:00 a top prize of $100 and about 20 $30 prizes. There was plenty of food and swap vendors. The cars ranged from Model T’s to present.Only 1981 and older were eligble for cash prizes. Its a show worth checking out next year.
78cruisingwagonParticipantI am sitting in my camper in Chippewa Falls enjoying a quiet cool evening.Show is tomorrow, calling for upper 70’s.

78cruisingwagonParticipantAnodized aluminum Can be polished to a high lustre.
It requires you remove the anodized coating by sanding or/or chemical. My aluminum anodized bumpers were pitted and cloudy. After stripping and polishing them people think that are steel chrome bumpers.78cruisingwagonParticipantI plan to sweat my way to Fort Atkinson Tuesday night. Then drive to Dearborn MI Thursday night for the Ford Product Development Center employee Car Show on Friday.
