Lots of good info talked about here. I am talking with Grundy now to insure the Monte. They seem to offer the better rate as well as good options. Thanks for all the input discussed here.

This year just before we put the Monte away we had a fiberglass 3 inch cowl hood mounted on her. We had it fitted, primed and painted to match along with getting it clear coated also. I always wanted one and I love the way they look on the Monte. I have only a few updates to do along with hood pins for safety this spring. Have good start on spring should get out early to cruise can’t wait. B)

We ask for the score sheet to see who we stacked up against the cars in our class. There are times we feel unfairly scored but we use the sheet as to see what we need to improve on the car. I now will just laugh at some we lose to and take the good things from the show with us. Last week we scored 45 out of 50 and didn’t place by one point. The best part of the show are all the compliments we receive on the car from all ages and especially at this one a mom and son talked to us for about a 1/2 hour the car and later that day the little boy came back and gave us a note which said COOL CAR. That made the day very nice as it showed appreciation for the work put into the car.

No thanks I’ll pass. When we go to shows we bring our towels to wipe her up as well as a water blade you use with your hand. May have do her once or more but no cover. Next will be one of those vacuum sealed bags lol.

I found a posting for this years show and Info how to contact them and I did. They told me as Tony is no longer there and this is how as a group at the fire department they voted how to change the show. This is was from comments and suggestions they had received and decided to make changes to the show. They will try the show this way this year and are open to suggestions to improve the show. It sounds like to me they are making good effort to keep this show going as well as open to suggestions make it better. I told them about this website and suggested they enroll here. This way they will be able read and post answers to some questions some may have about the show. Also post the show on the car show calender. Here is what I found.

We watched a show on the one in the twin cities. Very cool if you can afford it. I would suggest in the Car Condo community you click on press and watch the video. Very nice setups but mine will have be my own Man cave in the garage .
