And rain, glorious rain. This is the only time I year I will say that. I am happy with a drought in the summer, but right now….melt this stuff.
jonmandudeParticipantHe is republican, what do you expect?
Each party has time when their positions are relevant and necessary. Now is simply not a time for republican thinking.
jonmandudeParticipantI think the people do realize it. The real question is when are the money hording rich going to see that the way they are running (ruining) businesses may be making themselves multi-billionaires but the long term effects are catastrophic to the country as a whole?
jonmandudeParticipantI have said since day one that she is evil and I don’t trust her.
jonmandudeParticipantFor me the number one slot will be a 1969 Hurst S/C Rambler with the “A” paint scheme. I have always loved these cars. From the paint to the uniqueness to the monster torque in a light Rambler Rogue chassis.
Number two is the ultimate dream car for me that I will never be able to afford, a 1969 Yenko Nova with the dual quad 427. With only 26 or so made and only 8 known to exist anymore, I doubt I will ever make enough to buy one. Of course if I win the lottery….
Number three is a Nissan Skyline GT-R. Either an R34 V-spec or a new one. It is such a monster car and truly a supercar.
Number four would probably be a 1970 or 1971 Challenger. I don’t care which engine, there are so many to choose.
jonmandudeParticipantThat is a lot of money for an unrestored, non-numbers car
jonmandudeParticipantIsn’t that the same weekend as Hot Rod Power Tour?
jonmandudeParticipantI may have to join you two. What are you going to be driving?
jonmandudeParticipantI think it was $18 plus parking for general admission. I was able to give afew of those away too.
I am talking entrance for car to show. That was $40-$50. It felt really nice giving that to a few deserving people with some really wonderful cars. I hope QSL is able to do that again this year.
jonmandudeParticipantFor me it was being able to give a few people entrance to the Good Guys show. Especially the owner of the 65 Mustang. It really meant a lot to him and being able to make someone that happy always feels good
jonmandudeParticipantI will guess Hot Rod Power Tour on Friday. Unlike Good Guys they don’t have a year limitation, so that should draw more.
jonmandudeParticipantYou are right in comparing this war to Viet Nam. It is unpopular and we are fighting it with our hands tied by rules the other side doesn’t have to follow. We learned nothing. The only difference is, at least now we treat our veterans with respect.

jonmandudeParticipantQuote:We chose Madison because it is centrally located in the Midwest. We will consider Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, The Twin Cities, and Detroit our back yard. About 30% of the cars we sell will be to international clients.Jonmandude:
In general, the the average vintage cars are experiencing some decline in prices but the collectible investment grade cars are increasing in value.Makes sense to me. I wish you luck and welcome to Madison.
I understand that the price of gas definitely effects the average vintage cars. There is a “can’t afford to drive them so why purchase” mentality. Do you think the threat of recession will effect the prices any?
