Nope, last night was slotcar racing night.. But I did check out the Vodka last week at my local liquor store. I thought it was kinda pricy for the small bottle. But I do want one of those skulls. So if anyone is drinking some, and wants to get rid of there bottle you can send it to me. ;)

You can hear all about it here:

    STUPID!

Suppose we used some bailout money for this one? Do we really need a state slogan? Way to go Gov. Baldy.

Yes, I really don’t care what I drive everyday as long as it has a warranty..

Disrespecting or flaming a particular model of classic simply because you don’t own one or don’t like it isn’t right. We have received anonymous notifications of people who would participate in these discussions with us on the forum but have refrained from doing so because they have been personally hurt by comments on the forum.

Hmmm, you have received anonymous notifications from people? Are they not proud of what they drive that they can’t post? H_ll I drive a Ford with a Chevy engine. So I have a couple things covered.

And, you don’t think I get ribbed about the color of my ride? :silly:

I think people need to lighten up a bit , teasing about what you or your friend drives has been going on for years. I would love to own a Dodge with a Hemi. But my bank account tells me different.

So step up and post people. It doesn’t matter what you own.. B)

    1. Stupid people: Is that a Chevy engine? ahhh yes..(but thinking and wanting to say, no dumb ass it’s a Toyota..)

    2. Participant or spectator judging in small towns. That is alive and well.. I proved that last year as a test.
Some of the people on here know which show, I put my name on the card as being from “small town” and won.

So the natives are clueless try it if you want, it really works.:P

    3. Checkbook cars! as long as you have deep pockets seems you can win at most shows.

    4. Trailer Queens…..we need a scout outside the car shows to actually see what cars come on trailers. Then we can catch them lying when we put them in the trailer class, and they said they drove it.

    5. 50’s music. Pink Floyd’s first album was in 1966-67 wouldn’t that qualify as oldies? Does in my book!

I’ve had very good success on craigslist with small items, both as a seller and a buyer.

I listed the Mustang late last year and there didn’t seem to be much interest. I suspect it was the timing and asking price. It’s not a good time to be a seller looking for the full value of a car.

For what it’s worth, I check craigslist (and ebay and collectcaronline) almost daily, looking for that elusive red ’65 Impala SS convertibleB)

I know it’s a little late but, 25 years ago there was one that was always parked next to Thermo King across from the post office on Milwaukee St. It had a white top and a big block.

Thermo King has moved out past the airport on 51 now. But you never know maybe the owner of it still works there. B)

Yeah, I remember the hybrid club at QSL last year… a couple hippies walking around the lot looking at other cars in there bare feet and hemp clothing…

I guess State Street wouldn’t really be much different then…

Sounds more like Spaight St. Furry legs and comfortable shoes..:woohoo:
