I’m sure they will cancel it… The state of VA is doing safe at home until Jun 10th. The Bandit Run (3rd weeks of June) is canceled. Camaro Fest end of July was canceled. I’m sure Hot Rod power will be canceled.
My guess is that in June we will see gathering under 50 allowed again, and maybe back to normal in july – sep and then back down again oct-Jan.
Without a miracle drug or vaccine, people will continue to get sick and die.
This was my first year of not attending any shows. I drove to 3 shows to to take a quick walk around and then head back out to drive my car. My only plans for next year is to attend a few stops of the Hot Rod Power tour (already booked hotels), and maybe buy a new collector car.

You are correct there are several other owners in the Madison area with Ford GT’s, but I’m not aware of them being members on this site (they typically do not take their cars to the typical car shows, but they do take them to cars and coffee events in the area).
And you are correct there is 1 person in Madison (he has a collection of cars located in a building in downtown Madison) that has a new Ford GT.
As for shows it depends on what you are looking for … there at at least 25 shows in the Madison area that are your typical “Car Show” with trophies.
The season “starts” with Automotion in the Dells (multiple car shows in the Dells, but the “real” Automotion is for cars 1989 and older) and for many the end of the year show is in Pardeeville (all years show). These are by far the biggest shows in the area. Most of the other shows are your normal small town local shows (which you will typically see the same 50-75 cars that travel the weekends looking for shows).
If you are looking to see cars that you typically don’t see at car shows I would recommend Cars and Coffee in Lake Mills (First Sunday of the month, starts in May and if the weather is decent they will get about +300 cars). Also there is a Cars and Coffee in Fitchburg at Barrquies (PD) on the other Sundays (typically about 20-30 cars).

I was able to attend a few stops on the Hot Rod Power Tour, went to the Indian Uprising in St. Charles IL, went on my first poker run, and the Bryon Classic drags. I was able to put about 3000 miles this summer.What shows did you not attend this year that you did in years past?

What are your plans for 2018?Probably attend the National Pontiac show in the Dells, and I would like to attend the Woodward Cruise in Detroit. I would rather go for a drive, and have lunch at some place I have never been. My car is far from a show car and I would rather drive my car and experience new places and things then going to the same shows over and over and over again.
There is a show is New Glarus this Sunday too …
