circletrackParticipantQuote:I believe Dave Larson who was referenced in the article was involved with Capitol Corvette.
Exactly… and for those that know the history behind Capitol Corvette, I don’t think I’d be too quick to leave my vehicle at Blue Chip. I haven’t seen any of the work they do, the Purple 3 window belongs to a club member….
Let’s hope it works out and no one gets hurt…
circletrackParticipantYes, I’m usually there once a week or so. The prices and selection are good. YES I realize there are other places to shop, but I firmly believe there is no perfect world and/or place to shop and it’s convenient for me and my family. I was just there tonight and bought some of the new Megairs wax we talked about last week!
circletrackParticipantCare to share the auction with us? I’d love to see what some of the cars go for.
circletrackParticipantWill do!
circletrackParticipantQuote:I have been using Meg’s NXT for about a month now and the product delivers as advertised. It provides so much depth and maintain’s it’s brilliant shine. It’s definitely a must have if you want quality over the counter wax.Where can I find this? It’s time to start detailing! My daily driver is in tough shape, and the Chevelle could use some polishing too!
circletrackParticipantI’m pretty sure I was told you can get them at the local auto parts stores, or even Farm & Fleet?! I’ll have to check it out next time I’m out and about. I haven’t used one but have heard good things.
circletrackParticipantHere comes Boss Hogg!
circletrackParticipantMost of these althletes earn more in an hour than we make in a month, or six months for that matter… Many of them earn millions playing GAMES and have no idea what it’s like to work a 8-5 job and actually have to earn a living, support a family and much more. I know injuries and the like happen and their careers could be ruined in an instant but STILL!
I love seeing Kurt Bush on that list ~ he’s got a huge head on him. Granted, he’s better this year and realizes he does make mistakes, but the Bush brothers both have silver spoons firmly planted in their mouths…
circletrackParticipantToo many angles, it needs to be smoother. You could poke out an eye with that thing! LOL! Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif
circletrackParticipantThe Blanchardville show has always been held the same weekend as Iola, if I remember correctly, at least for the last few years. We’ve gone to Blanchardville and it’s always hot (it’s that time of year), but it’s a very nice show. Lots and lots of cars from Wisconsin and Illinois. The judging is tough, but if you walk away with a trophy you deserve it!
circletrackParticipantThey don’t bother me either, but seeing them at the bottom of the page is appreciated. There is nothing worse then going to a website full of pop ups you have to wade through before you can get to what you actually want to see. Keep up the good work!
circletrackParticipantMarshall ~ I totally understand your feelings. I wrote up what I wanted on my sign, contacted Signs by Tomorrow and picked it up a few days later. He’s done quite a few recently and knows what he’s doing. Here’s the website ~ http://www.signsbytomorrow.com/madison/
When you get yours done from Showboard, I’d love to see it!
circletrackParticipantThose are nice, I received information on them before I had mine made. I still think Signs by Tomorrow did a great job for me and didn’t charge me extra for a stand and such.
circletrackParticipantSome of our members had Ace do their work and it was really nice but they take their time doing everything (which isn’t all bad), and at times it took weeks longer than promised. If you aren’t in a hurry, it’s probably worth it.
February 26, 2006 at 10:02 pm in reply to: Don Knotts – played Barney Fife on Andy Griffith, died at 81 #23176circletrackParticipantVery sad indeed. We’ve lost many great actors in the last few months.
