A complete ground up restoration could end up as nice as this one, but, it would be a big bucks, no expense spared project.

Any other good ones?
The voices in my head told me to stay home and clean my guns today.
D.DawgParticipantRT Classics is a one man show. RT is Rod Tippery. He does good work and I would recommend him.
Regal Roadsters (Beltline and Rimrock Road), specializes in fiberglass Thunderbird kit cars and they also offer a 39 Lincoln Zepher kit car in various configurations.

Tom and Ray Magliozzi had a test on their show Car Talk about how to tell if you were a gearhead. It went something like this:
If an alien came down and gave you a machine that he said would create world peace would you:
1. Give it to the UN and enjoy the resulting world peace
2. Sell it to the highest bidder and retire a Billionaire
or
3. Take it apart to see how it works, not be able to put it back together, dump the parts in a shoe box and stick it on a shelf in your garage.
If you answered number three, you’re a true gearhead.
D.DawgParticipantSaturday’s and Monday’s weather forecast is not looking good. Both days appear to be washouts. Are there any worthwhile shows on Sunday?
D.DawgParticipantIt all boils down to…

What are the times for the Springdale Lutheran Church car show? Any other info about this show that you care to share?
D.DawgParticipantHere is some additional info and insight on Ron Pratte and his top notch collection…
D.DawgParticipantRuss – thanks for the info, especially knowing that you have used this Zymol Carbon Wax. I think I knew at one time, but had forgotten, that the opened container had to be refrigerated between uses. The best price I have found on this Zymol Carbon Wax is $61.00. Also, Zymol strongly advises that you must use their Zymol HD Cleanser (polisher) prior to using any Zymol Wax product. The HD Cleanser sells for an additional $26.00. It is impossible to justify spending $87.00 for a shine that is not much better or about the same as Simoniz Ice or Mothers California Gold or one of the Meguiars products.
Thanks again and Happy Motoring……

It appears that that will happen this year! Congrats to the crew from MATC!!!
D.DawgParticipantI am certainly out of touch with what goes on in the Madison area regarding cruise-ins during the week, but is there anything at all that is regularly scheduled during the summer? There used to be the Thursday night get togethers at the Quaker Steak and Lube in Middleton, but is this event still happening? What about anything on the east side of town? Anything going on there?
D.DawgParticipantI used the shop on Stewart St. last year to re-plate and polish several windshield trim pieces. My work was done on time and back to me within a couple of weeks, as agreed. I was happy with the quality of the work and the timeliness of the project.
There is an outfit from Brillion that is always at Jefferson, both Spring and Fall. I have heard from other enthusiasts that they do very, very excellent work, but can be a bit pricey.
