Would you consider buying a Ford now, though you wouldn’t have last year or the year before? Have they really turned themselves around?
GaribaldiKeymasterWhat do you think about the Nissan Leaf? It seems like a pretty full-featured car and not as expensive as the Volt.
GaribaldiKeymasterThat’s a cruise night!?!?! Wow! I am blown away by the number of cars and quality of organization! This seems like one you cannot miss
GaribaldiKeymasterI was at QSL on Thursday too. The hybrids come once a year in coordination with Hybridfest. QSL puts them in the show because they want to try and respect all car enthusiasts, whether they are interested in street rods, classic muscle, retro mods, modern muscle, or yes even modern alternative vehicles.
I really liked the yellow cuda that was there as well as the pink caddy with the stacked headlights!
GaribaldiKeymasterArmory for me too
GaribaldiKeymasterGreat photos! It sounds like a nice show
GaribaldiKeymasterMarshall I heard you were there but we must have missed each other (I came around 7:00). What did you think of that blue Mustang fastback? Nice looking car!
GaribaldiKeymasterToday’s the day!
GaribaldiKeymasterThanks for liveblogging Ryan, this show looks fantastic and really a lot of fun!!!
GaribaldiKeymasterLooks great! I think you’ll be very happy with this car and hope to see the pics soon!!
GaribaldiKeymasterSounds good, let us know how it works out!
GaribaldiKeymasterWhat about 90 and up? I still don’t think of early 90’s as classic. Is there a void between classic and modern (for a certain range of years)?
GaribaldiKeymasterI will be in Minnesota this weekend but probably won’t be able to make it to Back to the 50’s ;(
GaribaldiKeymasterI can’t remember a Merc recently that has stood out or even really made the headlines. I like seeing them at car shows but think Ford made the right decision to let them go now
GaribaldiKeymasterWelcome back Kreuger! Great to see you again! Nothing much too new here, though I bet the site looks quite a bit different (and hopefully better) since your last visit.
In my opinion, its hard to go wrong with a Toyota Corolla or Camry or a Honda Civic. All have good gas mileage and are very reliable. If you’re looking for a car that will keep on going and going without nickel and diming you to death (as has been my experience with newer Fords, Chevy), that is what I’d recommend. I’m not saying my experience is universal or without bias, but I have had good experience and heard great things about these vehicles
