I received a response from John at MATC:
Quote:The April 23rd career day is still going through as planned and I am looking forward to those of your members who are able to attend to be here! Is there any way to find out exactly how many of your members will be here? Also, if I could get any information in advance in regards to the vehicle and owner, I would like to print some certificates of appreciation from the auto dept.So far, I have the following people listed as coming, if you’re not on this list (or can’t attend) please post in this topic:
– MMRJR
– Circletrack
– Jonmandude
– Amigo2k
– Eclipse Tuner
– GTO ManIf you’re coming, could you post the info for the car(s) that you’ll be bringing, you can just use the dropdown like you do for Rate The Car Show:
Also, here’s a copy of the flyer that they’ve sent out:

I’ll email the guy and see if he has any more details or confirmations for us!GaribaldiKeymasterThanks to Amigo2k and GTO Man for working hard submitting lots of events for the upcoming car show season! :salut: :salut: :salut: :salut: :salut:
GTO Man, what’s the count on the total number of shows for 2008 so far?
GaribaldiKeymasterJust a followup, has anyone experienced any problems since we switched to the new layout?
GaribaldiKeymasterHere’s a new question that’s related to this topic: as we know there are often weekends where you have to choose between several shows – this year will you pick to go to new, smaller shows that you haven’t been to before rather than the larger shows that you frequented in previous years? I know that we’ve been hearing about a lot of small shows with big potential!
GaribaldiKeymasterLooks like a good show Ryan!
I have a couple sitting here behind my computer:
GaribaldiKeymasterZac – wow, sounds like quite a story! I’m glad that you were finally able to make it inside! I feel pretty hard on ice a few weeks ago and like you said there’s no time to react at all, its just one instant you’re fine and the next you’ve already hit ground
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Regular – 3.05
Mid-grade – 3.15
Premium – 3.25Racing – Haven’t bought any lately, may try to wean the cars off of it.
Better talk to Doc Brown and get your Mr. Fusion put in right away!
GaribaldiKeymasterWhat happened was in the 70s, the Democrats in the primaries elected a bad candidate who had no chance against the Republican candidate. After this the DNC created super delegates so that they could right a bad choice like that in the future (similar to the function of the electoral college). Unfortunately this has no real use today and we don’t need to have these super delegates determining the election
GaribaldiKeymasterI’m really glad that GoodGuys is going to be here for another year, the weather last year shouldn’t determine the viability of the Madison location
GaribaldiKeymasterSounds like a fantastic car with a great story to go behind it!
GaribaldiKeymasterThe plow just came and did my street
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:I’m surprised I could get home today. All the roads around my house were still not touched by 4:30PM. I helped dig 2 cars out around my house. So where were the plows at all day?I guess they decided to suspend plowing sometime in the afternoon to wait until it let up – but then they started again around 3 I think. That might explain why such a large area was not yet plowed
GaribaldiKeymasterYeah today was fun…
