The Black 91 Vette that won last year belonged to a friend of mine. He sold it to a doctor in Chicago. The doctor sold it at Meechum this year for an amazing… get this…$19,000.
I remember that car from Good Guys. I remember thinking that they probably had about $100K in it. $46K seems like a loss.
Anyone who doesn’t make it out to the Lube, please don’t ever feel that an apology is needed. I never expect anything except when you do show up you come to have a good time.
Tonight the weather didn’t cooperate but, believe it or not, we still had over 30 cars. The MSCC group was amazing. Since they are all racers and race in any weather the rain didn’t stop them, I want to send a HUGE thanks out to Loren and Chris for coming out. I also want to thank the others that showed up in the weather. I truly appreciate it.
I had a great time at this show last year. Iy i snice that they have all of the different classes and they are all set up well. They do an excellent job. I have to work at 3 but will attend while I can.
The only show I know of on the 15th is a car and Bike show at Pokerville Ironworks in Blue Mounds. 3 live bands and I think Arlen Ness is one of the judges. Anyone who knows bikes knows who Arlen Ness is.

I have done judged show in the past and always stuck with the rule of one trophy per car. Best of show, best paint, best whatever should always remove you from class voting. You got an award, let someone else have a smile too.
