I think the market will soften this coming year. If you are an owner or seller, that’s not the best market to be in. Of course, if you are looking for your first collector car or another one to add to the stable, then it might be a great year to go out and buy that classic red convertible muscle car thumbsup.gif

    Marshall

This is what I’m hoping since I’m shopping for another car myself. But, I don’t want to take a bath if it comes time to sell either. I plan to buy something to hold on to, my last two cars I didn’t have that long. I miss my ’68 Charger, that was a turn-key car thumbsup.gif

To each his own. Some are done well, some end up looking like *&^%.

I like the idea of appearing stock from back in the day and having a new age drivetrain in it thumbsup.gif

I have the Farmer Five. I watched some of the game online at nfl.com/live until my internet locked up. MHTC’s internet sucks.

Also (and some of you may know this) Randy Rhoads who came to fame in the early 1980’s as lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, left Quiet Riot to play for Ozzy. Randy Rhoads died March 19, 1982 when a small aircraft attempted to”buzz” the tour bus and crashed into it, killing Rhoads instantly along with the pilot of the aircraft and a passenger.

I hope Gus went after the expensive shoes, are dogs prefer the leather ones! w00t.gif

Of course, why would my dog destroy the cheapo work shoes? icon_cheesygrin.gif

I wouldn’t say I created a scene, I just wanted to let that guy know it’s his fault for being a dumba$$. I’m sure he was irritated long before I came into his world, but he wasn’t the only ornry cuss that day. Sometimes when you twist the knife on a person having a bad day, it helps others have a good one…. w00t.gif

PS- with all that happening it helped me relieve a little irritability. Before shopping I went to re-new my drivers license and to my suprise, the DMV was closed. Who am I to ask any state employees to work the day after Thanksgiving?

It sure would be nice to have a restoration shop in this area like those you see on tv ~ without all the drama, but of course!

I’m biting thru my lip as I type this ya know, I think a few of you will know what I mean….

I have yet to stop into Blue Chip and check out there shop. I know one guy who works over there and he’s a pretty nice guy. The other guys I met at QSL one night seemed to be pretty decent to talk to also. I hope they succeed and past demons don’t haunt them too much, we need a shop like this around here!!!

A good friend of mine lives in Phoenix and went to BJ last year. He sent me some pic’s of some really cool stuff.

He’s going again this year as he gets a bidder’s pass from his employer. Next year I’m going to try and join him down there thumbsup.gif

I went and did some shopping last Friday (mainly because my dog decided to make a chew toy out of my good shoes crybaby2.gif ). It was packed at Kohls! I went in, got some new shirts and checked out. The guy in front of me in line was a real PITA, he was b*tchin’ at the cashier because he couldn’t use his extra 15% coupon without a Kohls card….LIKE IT SAYS RIGHT ON THE COUPON!!! I couldn’t resist and had to mouth off, especially ’cause there were cute girls behind me in line thumbsup.gif I told him that it’s not the cashiers fault he can’t read and he’s holding up everyone’s else’s day, so get off it Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif Wow, that guy was really pissed by that point, but I made that cashier’s day after he left and I told her it was a good thing he bought new pants, cause the one’s he had on made him look like he was waiting for a flood Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif I was suprised when I went to the shoe store though, not a lot of people soaking up that sale….just a husband/wife combo with there three whining little brats…er, kids BangHead.gif

My son is a sales associate at JC Penneys WestTowne, and a large part of his income is commissions on his sales totals. He has to be in store and ready to work at 5AM on Friday. His record one day pay will happen on Black Friday, so that’s a good thing.

I used to work part-time at JCP west towne, that (nextto washing dishes in high school) was the worst job I ever had crybaby2.gif In retail, your job is based on commision, and you have to push poeple into buying stuff wether they want it or not. One time I had to work until 11pm for some XMas sale, after that I said “F— it” and quit Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif Your boy has my sympathies….unfortunately now I have to go shopping icon_vomit1.gif

I hate the Holiday season. The whole aspect has been so commercialized that the real meaning is gone.
