Contact ddhemi on here, he may have some storage available. we live out in blue mounds though.
moparkid25ParticipantAnother vote for Body Shop Supply. I’ve had them do a lot of automotive paint in aerosol form for me over the years. Talk to Justin DiMaggio over there, and tell him I recommended you. He and I go way back

Don’t be so thin skinned. He’s my neighbor, who talks shit about me behind my back because I live with my Dad. Apparently my living situation and finances are his business, and feels the need to send salty emails to Dwight, not knowing that DDHemi was Dwight  He’s also the same guy who shoots fireworks at my “Daddy’s House” and gets pissy when I stomp his liberal theories into the ground with aggressive facts.
Everyone on here knows I can be an asshole. I’m good at getting my point across, by any means neccessary.
Paul had his chance to be a man and talk to me when I was mowing my daddy’s ditch back before the drought, but instead he rode right by. I will say that I am not the same guy my Dad is, he’s a lot more calm and collected  I don’t put up anyone’s BS. I have a great career and have made it with no one’s help. The last thing I’ll put up with is some burnout judging me about how I live my life.
Haters Gonna Hate.

moparkid25ParticipantWith a show that sees 400+ cars depending on the weather, I could see where a vehicle may get missed. Generally, if the judges cannot find a vehicle, they will page the owner to the pavillion so that the owners can walk the judges to the vehicle.
Do I think that some of the judges at Pardeeville don’t have a clue what they are looking at? Yes. However, most of the judges do a fair job and will consult with another judging team if they have questions. To be fair, I’ve been to a lot of judged shows where the judges don’t have a clue what they are looking at or for.
Pardeeville is a good show, and competition is tough if you’re going to compete. Pardeeville is a show where I like to compete because it’s nice to win an award in front of family. Out of all the years I’ve been to Pardeeville, I’ve won one (1) award since I first attended this show in 2004-05ish. It was last year, and its one that stays in the house. Nothing wrong with competing, but sometimes you’re gonna get beat out.
If I was bigbluetruck, I would attend this show and compete my ass off. Just because you didn’t win an award doesn’t mean you’re getting screwed. There’s people I know who won’t go back to a show if they don’t win an award, and that’s just silly. Now, if that show is a clusterf***, then I don’t blame anyone for not returning.
I won’t be at Pardeeville this year, I’m going to see a friend in Missouri for a few days.
Xman, say hi to the “Fan Club” for me

Thank you for adding such a helpful comment. It is true, marijuana can kill you. According to the U.S. Dept. of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration. They say the facts are “uncontroverted”:
“In layman terms this means that in order to induce death a marijuana smoker would have to consume 20,000 to 40,000 times as much marijuana as is contained in onemarijuana cigarette. NIDA-supplied marijuana cigarettes weigh approximately .9 grams. A smoker would theoretically have to consume nearly 1,500 pounds of marijuana within about fifteen minutes to induce a lethal response.”

Here’s the full text of Judge Young’s ruling, see page 57.Of course, bears kill people too. Watch out!
There are a number of cleaners and refrigerants used in the auto industry which, when burned (welding, brazing, cutting, etc.) produce phosgene gas, also known as “mustard gas”. Perhaps some of you on this board do these sorts of activities and, like me, were unaware of this danger.
Here is a interesting discussion by HVAC guys about phosgene gas.
I’ll bet you didn’t even have to look that up.
And to touch on the subject, brake cleaner probably shouldn’t be used to clean a metal thats about to be welded anyway. Being stupid can also be reffered to as “Operator Error”
moparkid25ParticipantWell, no trip to Dubuque today due to the weather. I guess there is always next year
moparkid25ParticipantSo can marijuana use.

moparkid25ParticipantI decided I’m staying local tomorrow… And heading to DBQ on Sunday w/DDHemi.
moparkid25ParticipantI’m torn on which show I’ll attend Saturday. Being I live in the Mt. Horeb area, I should support the local show at the Springdale Lutheran Church. But, the Jesus Built My Hot Rod show is one of the best show’s I’ve ever attended, and I was upset about missing it last year and want to go this year.
Let’s face it – I think we can all agree I could use some Jesus in my life
moparkid25ParticipantThat show should be judged, and the club members should not be eligible to compete.
This would also keep the stock cars seperated from the modified cars.
moparkid25ParticipantI’ve seen that Yenko clone up close, the stripes don’t line up on it.
The guy who owns it also has a 71/72 El Camino for sale.
moparkid25ParticipantIts one of the best shows in WI, and you won’t be disappointed if you attend. I agree with Ryan, if I were you I would drive up the day before and stay in Portage, which is about 10 minutes from Pardeeville.
Get in the park early and get a shady spot. The competition is tough. If the weather cooperates, it will make for an awesome day.
moparkid25ParticipantYES!!!! I always wanted to get my tattoo’s done by some guy in a van
moparkid25ParticipantBigbluetruck wrote:Both facts bother me, i attend shows to compete and hopefully win an award. If i dont win thats fine with me but i at least want to feel i have a good chance and with the truck class being all trucks all years i know i don`t have a chance in hell with only one award, been there done that.If your one of those that say winning doesn`t matter than your full of it. Then why spend all that time and money on your ride.If it`s not about the awards then why even bother to spend money on registration, just show up and don`t register and spend time with friends, don`t spend hours on end cleaning and polishing if it`s not important to win at every show you go to.DDHemi would agree with your comments 100%. Believe it or not, there are still people out there with a competitive spirit. There are also people that are laid back and don’t give a rats ass if they win or not. The laid back people shouldn’t get pissy with those who are there to compete.
I am one of those people who don’t get excited when I don’t win, but when I see a deserving car get skunked (whether its mine or someone elses) I might just have to give my opinion thats not asked for  If you want to see my competitive side, come watch me play in my football or softball league!!
