Its usually the first snow for me..however I knew it was going to get cold and rainy, so friday I took advantage of the nice day and washed my K-cars. 88 had a dead battery, jumped it and filled it up with gas…another week or so the car covers will go on and batteries disconnected…

Usually in that modded class there are at least 3 or 4. and in the Bone stock class there is that white 85 daytona, plus my trio…Hopefully the weather is nicer this year..we sat in the rain last year..

2500 for that Pile of crap? it doesn’t even have the right hubcaps, and the bumper strips are faded…plus it probably has the mitsubishi 2.6 under the hood…Someone was a darn fool to bu it.. if it were a turbo car then I would pay more…

I agree, I think people should be fined for having collector plates on daily drivers in the winter, it is also insulting to us who care about our cars. There is an old fairdog (ford fairmont) that has blue plates and is a mail car year round, there is a chevy truck in the junkyard that has collector plates on it. Half tempted to grab the plate and claim it for myself

I can relate to this one quite well. The girlfriend and I were at a car show in lone rock, we won a gift certificate for dinner at a local joint, so I parked the Reliant in a spot where there was no cars. and about 10 minutes later this older couple were going crazy over the car like looking inside of it and even parked next to it. While I didn’t go ape shit I was nervous about them looking at it and parking next to it.. Anytime I take my car to show off at a diner or even subway I make sure I can watch it very closely.

I use my phone for work while driving on the highway, and if I get a call I simply wait for the cars to pass. Shucks I even have memorized my key pad on my phone to text… I have seen teen drivers on their phones and they just don’t pay attention to the road as often.

another solution would be having manual trans only 😆
