    I picked up this GPS:

    http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-StreetPilot-Vehicle-Navigation-System/dp/B000ACGQI8/sr=1-1/qid=1158463082/ref=pd_bbs_1/002-1358762-8497639?ie=UTF8&s=electronics

I like the turn by turn voice thing.

And I found out that when my speedo reads 65mph I’m actually only going 60 via the GPS. w00t.gif

    Specific Ratings (A-F):
Arrival/Departure (easy to find, easy to leave?) – A. They had some signs up on the road ( i had a new toy installed too GPS)
    Parking Location – A.grass parking
Class Organization – There wasn’t any
    Trophies & Prizes – only 3.
Food – 12 vendors, so that was a ton of food due to the other ongoings
    Entertainment – none
    Judging – none
    Dash Plaque – ribbon
Variety of Cars – most cars i have not seen before including a prototype AMX
Bathrooms – none on site a short walk to the buildings with the food they were there
Weather – Pretty nice. A little windy
Trophy Presentation Timing – 3 trophies, no presentation. At about 12:30 they walked over the cars that won and handed over the trophy and took pics. The King, Queen and Some other person picked the winners (so yes local favorites won …..)
Entry Fee – 5 bucks for a button
    Overall Rating:C

Only 30 cars and the big jefferson show is a week later. At 12:32 i was on the road and calling some friends for Badger tickets and to determine their tailgating location ……

I called the folks about the Jefferson show.

50 cars last year, 5 bucks for a button to get into the fair grounds. First 25 folks get a ribbon. Only 3 trophies that are picked by the staff of the fair. A mix of all types of cars ….

I’ll have to flip a coin (cross plains or Jefferson …).

edit: I found this on the website:

Participant ribbons to the first 25 entries. Three trophies awarded. King’s Choice for Best Pre-War, Queen’s Choice for Best Post-War and President’s Choice for Overall Favorite.

    Specific Ratings (A-F):
Arrival/Departure (easy to find, easy to leave?) – A. Great to have signs on the way there.
Parking Location – No real issues. I think if it was warmer they would of been overflowing with cars (there is a nice park across the street that may beable to hold more cars then the parking lot.
Class Organization – B+. Pretty much the same as other show (what about a foreign award? j/k).
Trophies & Prizes – A/B. Normal door prizes (including badger football tickets). They had a 50/50 raffle
Food – B. Normal burgers and hot dogs, and pheasant soup, and Pizza. beer garden. I’m not a fan of having to purchase Coupins to purchase food, they do it to try to slow down the beer drinkers.
Entertainment – DJ with the normal car show music (sound level was just perfect. They did a few games and things that you typically see at large car shows.
    Judging – A. They judged’em.
    Dash Plaque – A.
    Variety of Cars – B.
Bathrooms – B. I could only imagine if it was warm and folks were at the beer garden that the Park bathrooms would not of been enough.
    Weather – C. hey it didn’t rain….
Trophy Presentation Timing – A. Early
Entry Fee – 10 bucks which is pretty standard
Overall Rating:B I think this could be a great show, but if the numbers increase much I’m not sure where the cars are going to park …

    Specific Ratings (A-F):
Arrival/Departure (easy to find, easy to leave?) – Yup, I followed the 30 other cars that were pulling in at 8:30 I left during the throphy presentation so I zipped right out.
Parking Location – I was right by the lake, with a nice shade tree. I found the other cars by the lake to be a bit of a hodge podge. Maybe they need to take that area and mark off spots the day before?
Class Organization – I thought it was pretty good, it was cool that they had a class for bikes
Trophies & Prizes – Door prizes were so so, no 50/50 raffle, and some of the door prizes were gift cert for buinesses in Pardeeville. The Trophies ran a bit late (I took off right as it was starting)
Food – A+! Grilled corn, burgers, brats, dogs, and even pie with ice cream and donuts and coffee in the morning.
Entertainment – DJ, some lady that sang and a barbershop quartet. The DJ lady was Crazy F’ing loud and constantly was talking
    Judging – yup they did.
Dash Plaque – yup they had them. I don’t understand the point of them.
Variety of Cars – nice mix of old and newer
Bathrooms – 4 portajohn’s. Seemed like enough to me
    Weather – prefect
Trophy Presentation Timing – i think they were about 20 minutes or so late, but they had a lot more cars then last year.
Entry Fee – 10 to judge, 5 to show. Fair to me
    Overall Rating:A

It was a good show and I would like to attend next year. My 2 suggestions is maybe paint some lines for where they want cars by the lake, and either turn down the mike on the DJ or find a better place for the speakers (I think I saw a 100 people walk by my car with their fingers in their ears)

    I should be good.

I’m planning on leaving fitchburg at 7:30, and usually there are plenty of signs to the show within the town.

I bet there will be +300 cars there …..
