Tailgating is one of them. Do they really believe they will get there faster riding someone’s bumper. Do they ever think about reaction time!

They never do and it drives me nuts. There will be times when I am driving in the fast lane on the freeway at 80 and I’ll have an idoit tailgate me. I’ll do one of two things, activate my windshield washers so the fluid can hit their winshield or just take my foot off the accelerator and coast. The way I see it if they want it bad enough, they’re going to have to past me. 70+ in the fast lane in a busy city is fast enough in my opinion.

The windshield washer thing is a good idea, I never thought of that! I’ll remember that next time I have a tailgater annoying me. Its especially annoying when like you said you’re already doing way over the speed limit and they still are tailgating. If only they had horns that would say, “Back off man!” Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif

    Hi Folks
Some of the best restoration’s start with a detailed diassembly.
Take photo’s, keep a log, invest in boxes and plastic zip bags of all sizes ,
and a good perminent marker & 3/4 masking tape . and document everything . You will be glad you did. :D

Good tips! Its always so nice to look back on the projects, especially the before and after pictures. Its a great idea like you said to have a step-by-step transformation guide.

I remember TBS would air episodes of the show awhile back but finding an air date is few and far between. I do know that it is avaliable on DVD but I would recommend catching a few episodes on the tube before commiting. You know how disatrous investmetns in media entertainment can be.

Oh yeah. I’ve got several box sets of Sg-1, Babylon 5, and Seinfeld. They are pricy and you’ve got to be sure you want it before you buy it. A good resource is Half.com

A recent movie was The Fast and the Furious. That had some great chase scenes in it and some nice scenery. An older movie which was interesting was The Car.

Of course there were the Smoky and the Bandit movies also.

I haven’t seen either of those yet, they sound cool though!

Those are really handy to have! Its so much easier having a nice diagram to show you exactly how to do it, rather than playing the guessing game.

Exactly! Plus even if you do that you’ll only get where you’re going about 30 seconds faster. Definitely not worth it if you ask me!!

Both places are busy so timeliness may be a question. We have had an engine rebuilt at Bailey’s, he specializes in Mopars.

Gary was the one who finally got your Carburetors straightened out on the GTX wasn’t he?

You can tell when your a carnut is if your’re a guy, you hate to go shopping at the mall, but you plan months in advance for a swap meet or to go junkyarding. :D

    I have that problem too!

Me too!! I hate going shopping, whenever I go I always walk in knowing exactly what I want and right where it is so I can get in and out. But swap meets and car shows are different. I just browse and take my time. Yep, I’m officially car crazy!
