GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:I was very surprised when I heard they were discontinuing Olds. They were a well made automobile with good designs, they had some of the best models of any of the divisions. I thought the Aurora was an excellent car. I think they regret it now. I bet they lost some sales to the foreign after they stopped it.I agree, Oldsmobile made some excellent cars and had a great reputation. Unfortunately they decided to pull the plug, like GTO Man said I bet that they regret it now though.
GaribaldiKeymasterWell to celebrate I’m giving away free gmail accounts to anyone who doesn’t have one. Here is the official thread:

They also provide a 24/7 roadside flatbed service for a very resonable price. But they did have a fairly large increase this year. What other insurance companies do people use and what do you think of them?
There is a restriction where you can’t drive your collector car in January, right? Of course that doesn’t matter here in Wisconsin anyway because you wouldn’t want to drive in January!! Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif
I think you are thinking about the restriction if you have collector plates.
Yep that’s it!
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Mine is the newer AMC logo (1970-1987), I was also trying to get the old AM Script (1954-1969/1970), couldn’t find one small enough. You can always shrink it down. The GIMP is a great program to do that, and free too:

GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Yup, I can advertise it on 2 sites. NOw that I got another one.Great, I’ll work on creating the ad. Any good catch phrases that you think I should use?
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:No I do… maybe I should re-word it. Drogar-Dum(LBG).gifIs BSG new tonight? I think its the season finale.
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Back in the 60’s/70’s, you could just have to see one side/back/front and you could tell exactly what make it is and what model it is, now, you need to see a logo to tell.Exactly! There was such a sense of style, but today its all the same. Like Cap said too you could even sometimes tell by just hearing it.
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Mine’s just a Chevy bowtie with some checkered flags thrown in for good measure. No significance, but you can see where my automotive loyalty is…Yep, your proud to be a Chevy guy!! icon_biggrin.gif
GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Garibaldi is that a pic of you in your avatar or is that someone else? That person in the pic looks familar thats why I ask.Nope, that isn’t me, I’m not bald. icon_cheesygrin.gif
No that is a picture of Jerry Doyle, the actor that plays the character of Michael Garibaldi on the scifi tv show Babylon 5. Michael Garibaldi is quite a character, he’s funny but has a really good intutition, which makes him perfect for the job of Security Chief about Babylon 5. He is also quite smart and clever. Anyway I picked Garibaldi as my forum alias and I had that funny picture of Jerry Doyle that I decided to use as my avatar. You can find more info on Jerry Doyle and Michael Garibaldi here:
