Me and the little woman took a cruise out to Middleton and saw the cruise night over at Quaker Steak And Lube. nice little show, didn’t get to draw anything but saw some neat cars. Specially liked the Austin Healey 3000 and the Vettes and the little Ford Capri.
lordairgtarParticipantThen you could hit up Sturgeon Bay perhaps?
lordairgtarParticipantSaukville is north of Milwaukee about 30 miles located on the Milwaukee River. It’s a pretty good show.
lordairgtarParticipantSaukville is an awesome show. It’s in a park and they have decent food and other vendors. I haven’t been there for awhile as I DJ a different show that conflicts with the date…and , no , I do not work for 3D Sound. Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif
lordairgtarParticipantI’m letting my club know about this.
lordairgtarParticipantMuch is said about DJs liking to hear themselves and being annoying. However, sometimes the venue requires the jock to say things to push raffles and advertise certain vendors and announce when things like awards are happening. I do agree that certain annoying traits have to go like the haha hey lookie there and when introducing a song, saying things like Let’s check out that little duece coupe, or checking out the Troggs. Just say the songs name with out the checkin’ out thingie. As a car show DJ myself, I try not to do that. I do announce my Name throughout the day, however.
lordairgtarParticipantHere ya go! In October
2nd-5th: Audubon Days Festival! We have a lot going on! To list just a few, the 2008 Audubon Days Festival presents: a RUN & Walk, a Bike Tour through the Marsh, the WSL Audubon Arts & Crafts Gallery, a Car Show, a Gigantic Parade, the Taste of Our Town food court, (scrumptious), fabulous entertainment and much, much more FUN. It happens in the park along the river with a full bloom of fall color. It does not get better than that. See our website for the details of the Audubon Days Festival. http://www.audubondays.com

lordairgtarParticipantQuote:Better then $6.50 last week at Greedguys.Hahahahahahahaha
Quote:Entertainment – B Sometimes very annoying at one point any car with wide tires was Pro Street according to the DJ.Which is why you hire a DJ that strictly does car shows, not a wedding jock. icon_punk.gif
lordairgtarParticipantWhat exactly are HDRs?
lordairgtarParticipantI don’t even touch or lean on a new or everyday driver.
lordairgtarParticipantI think we can all understand the little accidents that come with being a parent with collector cars. It kinda goes with the territory. The Edsel didn’t belong to the mom with the child, the car belonged to a friend. We were just too shocked when it occurred and we just let it slide, but did inform nicely that maybe some people would not be so understanding of an “urgent” situation. No harm, No foul!
lordairgtarParticipantIs today tuesday? Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif
