Belleville was a neat show when I attended a few years back, looking at cruising out to New Berlin with the Buick for their show on Saturday and acting as a spectator at Botham Vineyards for Sunday because you won’t see the cars that turn out for that show anywhere else.

It appeared that is what they were setting up to do that but I got out of there at the front of the pack so they hadn’t had a chance to get in position yet. They still line up all the corvettes at one end of a field by the swap meet which was a neat thing to see

As soon as you said purple people eater I knew exactly who your were referencing and 2nd the above comments. Once again due to work I will not be able to attend pardeeville this year and though it doesn’t effect me just say no to dj chage, bring back 3d. Otherwise a really nice show! great pie!

Also have to agree with moparkid25 about Platteville, I think its hilarious that you called them on it!

Ballweg has been a nice short show in the past…have to work a 12 Saturday so can’t make it this year…looking at the Dubuque arboretum for Sunday though just to try something different.

Nice to hear this show is doing well, quite the increase in turnout from last year it sounds like. Close for me to might have to see what next year brings.

Both are good choices, I attended each last year…lone rock was a first annual then. I was considering making the trip down to Stockton on thursday, i believe you have been there…is it worth the drive?

Caddy wouldn’t start, something wrong with the battery so took the Town Car out first to Mount Horeb saw 2 cars there and then 9 in Verona so ran some errands in Madison. This cold weather needs to stop so I can clean up the Buick and figure out what to do with the Cadillac.

I’m going to try to get out there by 10:30 or 11, charged up the battery and fired up the Caddy’s v8 for the first time since October last night, missed that purr. Hopefully this drizzly crap will end by tommorrow a.m.

Let me know what Bill says. If you don’t need to hang around the full 10 to 3pm it might be interesting to evaluate the possibility of cruising from one show to the other given they are not too far apart. Hope the weather warms up a bit this cold is becoming tedious. Maybe I should bring my new toy/daily driver, a black 04 Town Car ultimate took the one warm day we had this week to polish it up.

So am I correct to interpret that there are 2 shows going on simultaneously at both locations…that of course would leave a decision ahead…Mt Horeb is closer to me anyone else going there?

Speaking of this i am starting to work on blurring out plates for shows and have pictures from the following shows in 2012 Albany, Ballweg (middleton), Barneveld (Botham Vineyards), Blanchardville, Blue River, Boscobel, Brookfield, Cobb, Deerfield, Delafield, Fennimore, Horicon, Janesville (Gordie Boucher), Jefferson, Lancaster, Lone Rock (Lone stop show), Lone Rock (July 3rd show), Mount Horeb (Springdale), Mt Carroll, Necedah (VFW), Oregon (Crohns Colitis), Oregon (O-town Showdown), Oregon IL, Platteville PPE (spring show), Richland Center (jones chevy show), Rome (lake arrowhead classic), Sauk City (Ballweg), South Wayne, Sun Prairie (cars in the park), and Whitewater (July 4th show)….due to issues with the photo uploader last year I still need folders for South Wayne and Oxford for the 2011 photo gallery. About 10000 photos total and I have much to go but it is slow at work so I have much time as well! Thanks

I too would have an interest in this (back bar), particularly if they rescheduled it…haven’t seen weather that poor in a long time.

Had a lot of fun this year going to shows I’d never been to (at least when I could get a day off). Horicon, Necedah, Lake Arrowhead, Oregon IL, these are shows that really stand out for me as the more enjoyable in large part because it was a new area with cars i hadn’t seen before. Not all new shows turned out great (whitewater, mostly due to weather) but most others (lone rock) did. A couple great must attend shows for me continue to be Lancaster and Springdale.

I did see some expansion of food items and other events on site to keep you entertained but then again several shows backed it down to hot dogs and coffee as well. Did see some elimination of the 90-present ridiculousness but unfortunately many times it was at the expense of cars newer than 2000. One other thing i liked was the increase in the number of shows that gave out save the dates for next year, i have a pile ready to go as soon as I get my 2013 calendar (unless of course the Mayans were right, which would be unfortunate because I still have many cars to buy!)
