After many years serving the classic car community, Wisconsin Collector Car will be shutting down at the end of 2024. Thank you for all of the car show memories!

Koschkee Transer in Fennimore closed up the other day also. The economy is really starting to take a big turn for the worse. Jobs are being lost almost by the minute it seems.

I allowed myself to drink too much last night and didn’t get productive until about noon today icon_vomit1.gif Had I’d been in my usual top form when I woke up this morning, I still wouldn’t have went.

The wind is terrible today, it’s gusting against my apartment and its cold enough I had to turn the heat back on BangHead.gif

Gas prices are the same as my previous post, but racing fuel has hit a new high.

    Racing fuel – $6.50/gallon

Gotta get his pal’s rich one more time before he’s out of the oval office. I can’t believe congress doesn’t do anything about it…..oh wait, I forgot, I’m in the USA Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif

Gas prices are killing the general public economy. Along with high interest rates because of scumbags not paying there credit card bills. Action needs to be taken, this is where I would give McCain credit for working with the other party to turn this country around.

    Ryan’s right, “Mud Hole”.

A few friends had talked me into going, but I think I’m gonna pass. I had 2″ of rain at home overnight, my building site is a mud swamp, and I just cleaned my truck for spring. Then I got at least another inch here at work this morning! I think I’ll get some of my mowing clients settled tomorrow instead of getting my boots full of mud.

I watched the Democratic debate last night on ABC. Charlie Tuna and George Stephagarbage were the worst moderators. The first hour of questions were worthless. Clinton the B%^^h was in her prime. We need to see fair, unbiased debates instead of this garbage with large corporations backing it.

Clinton’s wildcard is that she is promising all the superdelegates cabinet positions if she gets elected. If I were a left-wing superdelegate, I would rather nominate Mickey Mouse to be my president than “her”.

Ok… what is the @#$* excuse now for the gas price changes? I see no reason for it to continue to jump a dime each time…. Clearly we are paying plenty! I heard on the radio this morning if you needed gas to get it TODAY otherwise you’ll be paying $3.50/gallon. I got it for $3.37 this afternoon which I thought was a bargain as I saw some places at $3.49. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, since this morning it went up to 3.47 crybaby2.gif Now in MH it’s only 3.43, but there is no excuse for this crap. They won’t be happy until they help kill the economy.

Saturday in the Park was put on by the Badgerland Mustang Club, that was years ago now. I don’t know if that club does anything anymore.

I had heard they started up again last year, but haven’t heard anything since…

Still 3.39 this morning on my way to work. That’s what most of the prices were in Madison last night when I was there.

The democrats are already bitching about it because they know its a good idea and they didn’t think of it.

The Sugar River Cruisers used to have there car show in Mt. Horeb before moving it to Verona. Darlington used to have a really nice car show but they haven’t had it for about 3 years now. The Klassarama show at the VFW was always a good turnout, but that group is getting up there in years and they can’t do all the work they used to anymore. The Dodge Charger registry used to also have there annual meet in Madison, but the last I talked to Wayne Wooten, he said they have been scoping different locations for the events as they are held all over the US. Last year it was in Beloit, where they have the Autorama.

Yeah, today was a real peach to be outside BangHead.gif

However, the latest forecast shows temps in the mid-upper 60’s for next week with plenty of sunshine thumbsup.gif

    Nope.

I don’t think my car is up to the level of the cars that were there last year. And the 4000 people walking down the road from the farmers market scares me…

I have seen your car, it is nice. Don’t put yourself down, from what I had heard about this show last year, there were quite a few cars that werent nice enough to be considered “show cars”. That definition is purely based on what the owner of that specific vehicle thinks.

I don’t attend for the same reasons. I don’t like the idea of liberal-madisonians who dont understand the hardwork and heartaches that go into these cars even being near them. Bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, homeless, drug feinds, kids who are unattended or ignored by there parents, etc. all cause possible damage situations to your vehicle.

There is not enough space on State Street to have everything safe.
